I agree, Patrick will be a Flyer for a while. I can't see the Flyers moving Simmonds either. I've been thinking of a flyers trade for Gaudreau since he was drafted by the Flames. I'd love to see it happen.

So a top 7 NHL defensive prospect, A top 10 NHL center prospect, Wayne Simmonds, and a 1st round pick for Gaudreau, Bennett, and Shinkaruk?

Yep! Your not the only fan that's allowed to over value your players... lol

As for the trade to PHI - why oh why do we care about giving Johnny what he wants - trade him to LA or Vegas - his poor Mom will faint!!! : )

So the #10 best prospect on Craig Button's list (Myers) and the a consensus top pick for two years (Patrick) is overvaluing my prospects? How does that make sense? Patrick will most likely be better than Bennett and Myers will eventually become our #2 defensemen w/ Ivan Provorov.

I wouldn't mind Gaudreau, just I'm not willing to trade prospects for established players, and neither is Ron Hextall.

Bennett had better point per game totals in his draft year than Patrick did was drafted in a stronger draft class which is why he went 4th. Grudreau is a point per game player and just entering his prime year at 23. I didn't realize Myers was that highly ranked so maybe something else needs to be added from Calgary or change meyers for morin.
