Why would buffalo trade for duchene when we have oreilly and eichel and prospects in asplund and middlestadt and pu and reinhart who can shift over?

Bigger question is why would Buffalo strap themselves with so much salary that it would make re-signing Eichel and Reinhart almost impossible next year without moving major components.

Because they dont plan on bringing back Kane, and theyre already in talks with Eichel about an extension, so they alreay know what kind of salary they are looking at…

Sabres dont have them now, why limit the team, waiting for prospects who may or may not actually work out
