Pacha only costs the Devils 1m a year. Wouldn't the Devils be 10X better off, keep former rounder Pacha and see his development and spend 5m on a UFA or whatever than taking on RNH. IMO these type of trades really are not benefit to non playoff team.

I thought it'd be ok. RNH and hall have crazy chemistry well they use to an zacha has had some injury problems with concussion. Plus I'm sure he'd love to leave new jersey wink hahaha

Fine by me. Mike green isn't worth this deep draft plus we can sign him next year for half his cap. I hope Detroit gets rid of holland and figures out there cap crisis

Yeah, as deadline trade bait I don't think Green will return a 1st round pick in the 2018 draft. He isn't worth what Shattenkirk was last deadline, and most thought that Washington overpaid. A second round pick and an average prospect should do it.
