I don't think that I would trade Dougie straight across for Ovi, he is much to valuable to the Flames and on a fantastic contract. When his contract ends we sign him to one more to replace Gio. Just my opinion, I know that even a bunch of Flames fans will think much differently than I do;.

That defensive pairing you've built, though, Dougie Hamilton and John Carlson... Wow. Is there another way to make that happen? That doesn't involve losing Carlson a year later, anyway, due to massive salary cap problems? They could move some pucks.
