Trading Pasta for some Mac

Description
Just playing around with IF Pasta was trade and circling back to Landeskog. Essentially the trades breaks down to....

Pasta for MacKinnon and then Carlo for Landeskog

The Beleskey deal was just to get under cap, but IDK that it's very entertaining for ARI and it would need more work.

The main thing on this is the deal with COL.

What does everyone think value wise?

Feedback always welcome, really just seeing if people think its a good hockey trade for both clubs. I've been on record that Boston isn't trade Pasta/Carlo, but I thought it would be interesting to throw something out that IMO is decent value for both teams.

TBH I don't think Colorado would move MacKinnon for almost any thing. If you get Duchene instead I think they could throw in a conditional 3rd where if Pastrnak ups his point total then it becomes a 2nd

At that point though Boston wouldn't be interested. 2 years of Duchene isn't = to a 20yr old Pastrnak

im trying hard to not be biased cause mackinnon/colorado is my favourite player/team. i think purely based on trade value its fairly even, only problem is that pasta is an rfa and im worried colorado might not be able to sign him to a reasonable contract

If Pasta was traded to most teams, especially the Avs, his play and production would likely regress. He played with the very good and steady Bergeron and Marchand had an MVP season. So what is value as a player? To me it's tough to measure.

Maybe, but COL would be moving out $11.8 million and taking in Carlo's ELC. I mean if you start w/ Mack's cap hit and add say $1.2 million for a total of $7.5 million per for 7/8 years, would you think that's reasonable?

actually he didn't play with those two as much as people think. He spent most of the season w/ Krejci + whoever was the tryout of the week lol. The major time they played together was during playoffs (did go great) and the PP.
