Description
This is just an idea on what I think would be a fair Trouba trade. Feel free to comment a different perspective.
If I'm detroit. I'm willing to give up anything other than Larkin, mantha, svech, hronek, and 2018 1st. So keep that in mind with any suggestions.

jets are trying to win, or at least get in the playoffs. Maybe next summer this a deal.

I've seen Trouba play live on several occasions in Winnipeg, not sure he's going to be a 1D man, might be a solid #2 but he makes alot of defensive blunders.

Hi Detroit. That is a no from Winnipeg. We have lots of prospects, turning Trouba into a bunch more smaller pieces would be a worst case scenario and we'd probably only be looking to do that in 2+ seasons, if at all. (Hope to be going on deep playoff runs by then)

If you want him that 2018 1st is pretty much a guarantee to be included.

Our main needs are a guaranteed top 6 Center to replace Little and if Trouba is traded a young top pair potential RHD. With signing Kulikov and having Niku, Stanley and Samberg the need for a 2nd pair LHD is pretty much gone for the moment. We also don't need any wingers as we can't find spots for all the ones we currently have.

Really in a Trouba trade it's got to be 1 for 1 or 1 for 1+. No quantity deal will work. Jets can add to Trouba to make sure the piece coming back is worth it.

Detroit doesn't have much that interests me other than the 2018 1st, which is too bad because that's probably where Trouba would like to end up. I'd probably need the 2018 1st + Larkin which is not one but 2 of your untouchable pieces

No deal to be made here.

He already is a #1D by pretty much every metric and measure. He and Morrissey took all the toughest assignments this year in the toughest situations and flourished. I'm glad you don't want him, but the kid is unreal good.

He played a lot against elite players, but I wouldn't say his results were "#1D by pretty much every metric and measure."

Byfuglien was much better.

Would be interested to see if Rasmussen could come into play here
