Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Soshnikov, 23, is a young players who can shoot the puck.
Toronto has a lot of forward depth let one go for a young defanseman in Reinhart isnt bad at all.

Vegas has defensive depth that occurs hard decisions.

A Russian player can help Shipachyov off the Ice as for game plan, integration and what to do in NA.

Reinhart, also 23, has a lot to give and he is a big physical d-men who skates well for his size.

Toronto might play him on top 6 if Dermott isnt ready.

I waived Hunt, Pulkkinen and Merrill but I can see him trade too.

I think you over valued Reinhart. IMO he couldn't make the Leafs and the Leafs really don't need him in with the Marlies. Soshnikov is still concussed and he is waiver exempt.
Now there might be trade for some of the Leafs "excess" forwards to Vegas for a Dman, but not Reinhart.

I dont think I overvalued any player here. Reinhart has a one-way contract. If he doesnt make Vegas club, he has to be put on waivers and that factor drops his value.

Pal I dont think Dermott is ready to play a full NHL season. Hell be better in the ahl playing top 2 and be called up if there is injuries. Reinhart is better than Marincin and will make the club no doubt about it.

If the Knights are offering to trade Reinhart, every team will at least hear them out. As a mostly Caps fan, Washington has one hole on each side of its defense, and could probably make another if Vegas needs to get rid of defensemen significantly cheaper than Brooks Orpik, who could be a captain in Vegas, after being an alternate captain on the best team in the NHL in back to back seasons in Washington, playing a big role in a Cup with Pittsburgh, and ranking in the top ten in the league in hits and plus/minus last year. I could see the Caps throwing in a late round draft pick or two for two or three defensemen Vegas doesn't think will make its team, if they fit under the Washington cap limit.

ICYMI - Soshnikov is at training camp, looks like he was cleared medically.

EDIT: Might as well add that I would see Reinhart about 6th or 7th on the Leafs LHD depth chart. Foot speed is where the league is heading, especially the Leafs, and I think that leaves Reinhart as a depth player only, or a marginal 3rd pair guy.
