Is this enough? Bogosian is moved moreso for cap purposes. But ge's a good locker room guy, can be a solid middle pairing guy, and has a good history with the Jets organization.

I strongly feel that is a HuGE over payment for Trouba. Nathan Beaulieu and a first should do the trick. If you wanted to dump Bogosains contract as well I'm sure a second either in the same draft year or next would complete it. You don't need to get rid of him though. Yes he is getting paid a lot but he is still a serviacable D man. Also don't think Winnipeg will want him back after they traded him a couple seasons ago. Nylander will turn into a top 6 winger like his brother. No way you add that as well unless you didn't want to work anymore.

I also feel that its too much. Its essentially nylander and what still could be a lottery pick, with beaulieu as a d replacement, and bogosian to balance salary. The only piece you can reasonably take out is beaulieu, so you are giving up nylander and a good pick for trouba, but you are adding extra, just because you have to. Id rather see if housley can use bogosian in a way that doesnt make him look as bad as bylsma did. Also, we have antipin fighting for ice time with bogosian, if he adjusts well, bogosian might be getting third line time. I think id wait and see how this plays out before giving up nylander and that pick.

Well I'm glad everyone thinks it's too much. I'm personally not as high on Nylander as most, so if we could keep Beaulieu and still do it, that'd work for me. Obviously depends where the 1st is, but a 1st, a top end prospect like Nylander and a player like Bogosian does seem like a fair offering I guess

I heard nylander bulked up over the summer. Its hard to project, he was a skinny 18 year old kid playing against guys in the ahl with ex-wives and oxy problems. Hes still dominant against kids his age. Hoping he takes a big step this year, sabres need more skilled forwards that can skate.

Maybe downgrade to a 2nd rounder from a 1st or just get rid of it and it's more fair. TBH, I like the idea here tho I'm not a huge Nylander fan

I think Sabres fans forget that he was a 18 year old kid who put up 30 points in the AHL, just like his brothers first year, because of the year his brother had, despite William being 2 years older. He will be a real good player. I dont know how you cant be high on him
