no. for this to work on my side, I would have to only send you Hayden. and even then, I want to consider all my options before pulling the trigger.

I won't put Debrincat or Schmaltz in this deal mostly because of Ellis's injury and that he may be a little rusty coming back. Who are you interested in on my roster besides those guys in a deal for Ellis?

There’s not a lot that I see. I could potentially do something with Beauviller and Jokiharju.

Hinostroza, Wingels (to even out cap and you don't need to place anyone on waivers), 2019 3rd for Carrick and a 2019 5th. Thoughts? Definitely a decent start and can be worked around.

That's just too much for me to give up when Ellis is not vital to the success of my team. I already have at solid top 4 D and giving up this much for a complementary player is just too much for me,

I think that 3rd is way too high. I would probably rather use Kempny to even out the cap b/c he's who's spot Carrick would be taking.

Murphy really shouldn't be a top four defenseman on a legit contender, plus the fact that Ellis would be your second best defenseman behind Keith, and he's on a terrific team friendly contract. Seabrook and Alzner are both underwhelming, to say the least. This would solidify your defense for a shot at a long playoff run.

Actually, I don't need Kempny, I have too many NHL ready defense as it is. What other contract could you offer to even out the cap? For the picks, we can work on that once we figure out who will be used to even out cap.

Hinostroza is 23 now...if he hasn't stuck in the NHL yet, it's not likely he becomes anything more than a third liner. I chose Hinostroza just because he has some sort of value out of your prospects outside of Schmaltz and Debrincat, who you already said you wouldn't move. Bouma and Kempny have very little value, if any, to me, and Jokiharju plus a pick is not really an option for me to move Ellis. I would consider moving him for Jokiharju, Hinostroza, and a cap dump or two.
