The Leafs aren't taking that deal. It would be a better deal for the Leafs if the Hawks keep Bickell.
Campbell might be traded at the deadline if he desires, but think Florida would want more. Are Baun and Danault real NHLers?

Deal couldn't go without Bickell. I also think TOR realizes that they aren't making the playoffs this year...and behind closed doors...don't think they'll make it next year either. It's a work in progress. I don't think Bickell's contract (for TOR) is really that big an issue. 1 more year of $4M won't change their future in the slightest, but having draft picks an teuvo could.

The Leafs not making the playoffs is obvious, as a Leaf Fan I would be happy to take on Bickell's contract for a couple more years if we received the grade A prospect and maybe change the 2nd pick for a 1st.
