Toronto would do that in a heartbeat. I worry more about the Pens defense. If you would get one of the Knight's better defenseman in the Vegas deal, I would be more motivated because I definitely want T Bozak.

I think the Leaf make the trade. Shultz is definitely an upgrade over Carrick. Don't like losing Bozak at all, but can the Leafs manage one season without him is the issue.. Kapanen and/Leivo now have the opportunity in JVRs. spot.
No way Las Vegas gives up futures for one year of Horni though. Probably a better trade partner such as Canes, maybe Florida.

Saw this one earlier today, and as a Leaf fan it is interesting.

It all comes down to whether or not you believe Schultz is the answer on RD.

Losing Bozak hurts us this season... no doubt about that. Even if JVR is the better producer.

I'm just not sure about Schultz tbh.

Interesting proposal anyways. Would probably guarantee the Pens the Cup.

Carrick is worth a 2nd

So JVR + Bozak for Schultz + 2nd...
