I think mtl would make that trade, but they wont send a pick. Bergevin has cap space, and he is willing to acquire bad contracts, if he gets the young assets/picks he wants with them. So maybe a 2nd rd pick or a 1st rd pick, or a good prospect plus a bad contract.

What about Davidson for Stajan (retained 400 000$) ? 1 for 1 trade, typical Bergevin.

If Im MTL I would make that trade. Brouwer has not done well in CGY but I think he could be good in MTL. Good job.
