I Like ZAR and the first but the sabres have no use for the rest. The defense gets weaker and the y already have pouliot no need for hagelin

Reinhart would cost the same tier as Malkin
(#2 2014), (#2 2004)

Too early to say who will be better, but Reinhart is close enough for now while the current era of lower scoring, worse officiating, and tougher competition stops you from giving a definitive answer
At the very least, Reinhart is younger+cheaper when there is almost nothing more valuable than that

please do not compare reinhart to malkin in any way shape or form... nor their entire careers... please... just don't. like I'm trying to help you from sounding stupid man. maybe I misunderstood you. I think I must have cause theres no way someone in their right mind could compare malkin to reinhart

malkins first 3 NHL seasons: 85 points, 106 points, 113 points (and art ross winner).
reinharts first 3 seasons: 42 points, 47 points, and TBD (probably around 55 id assume)

back to the trade though. terrible deal for both teams. (mainly buffalo but Pitt still suffers). buffalo doesn't get fair value on a #2nd overall pick and Pitt has to take 4million of useless cap space with Bogosian
