I dont think Wilson is enough for the pens to part with hornqvuist. He is our only blue collar player and Wilson well he has been on the top line and hasn't done a thing.

While I agree Wilson has not done much...He has 1 more point then Hornqvist who has been playing with Crosby ans Malkin for a majority of the year. Change of scenery might do both of them some good.

I'd take that as a pens fan. Maybe picks would change too

Maybe Ellis for Johanson, might be fair, but Trevin is highly rated and a first would be too much for Nashville to give. Zack is right about the change of scenery....of course it always tough to trade away "what you know", in exchange for" I'm not sure how he's gonna fit in with my team".

I would love a Ellis for Johansen swap but the reality is 23 year old 1C that have scored 70 points do not grow on trees and the CBJ will want quite a bit. Which I can't blame them for.

Don't think Johansen has ever scored 60 or 70 points, he has settled into a 45 point man for years. ( I checked his stats, though I could be wrong) # 1 centre? Backstrom and Kuznetov has surpassed him, he might be # 2 LW behind Ovechin and just a head of the young Buraukowky. (sorry about the spelling)

Thanks Zac, I was only off by 1000 miles and about 25 positions in the overall standings. That type of trade might be OK for CBJ. Instead of a 1st rounder, Nashville does have a couple of high end prospects at Milwaukee. Nashville if they are ever going to "go for it", you're right Ryan Johansen could be their # 1 centre.
