the Gardiner trade might be the worse posted this season.

I don't know why you have that Gardiner trade but I had something similar posted earlier. I put Kapanen and a 3rd for Strome this year so he can play next year and be a call up this year. Alotanen is almost certainly our 4th line center next year. It will be nice to have some depth at center

I wouldn't give up anything of significant value for Strome at this point. He hasn't shown that he can perform at the NHL level. We'll see what happens in the AHL. I reside in Tucson, so I'll get a lot of opportunities to see him. If he isn't living up to expectations, he may be traded just for a change of scenery.
