So, why does mean Turris gets traded just because he's a upcoming UFA. Pittsburg didn't trade Daley, Hainsey, Kunitz, and Bonimo just because they were upcoming UFAs. Admitting that Ottawa would probably love that trade for a rental of Turris. Not sure what's in for Buffalo though. A hit of 6.8m to their cap doesn't seem practical.

Get real with that buffalo trade. Younger without a 7.8 mil cap hit with potential to be better. Then you try to take our first rounder too? No thank you.
Why not just trade Phil for turris?

I don't think Phil would go to Ottawa but I do think he would be happy to go to Buffalo. His house is just a hour away in Toronto. As well Kane Jack Phil line will be good. Kessel would make that team so much better. Instead of being a sorry team and missing the playoffs because Buffalo can't score they might make the playoffs.

Also what does everyone think Kessel is Worth in a trade? I think b+ prospect a 1st and a roster player. Now if you grade nylander an a prospect witch I do do I would take out the roster player. You have to think nylander is still unproven in the nhl.

But phil is older and getting to the end of his prime. Sabres want to build a franchise for years which means the young talent stays. We're not giving up Nylander for Phil period. My complaint isn't all value but what is fair for the sabres.
