I don't think De Haan would sign in Colorado to be the 7th dman

I believe you've the picks on the wrong side here, No way is Duchene worth Hanifin+2nd+3rd round pick. And Ron Francis stated he's not giving up Noah Hanifin for only 2 years of Matt Duchene without a guarantee that he resigns.

Cale Makar will mostly likely be on the team next year and, if so, he'll be in the top 4. Avs D is getting real good!

Duchene is not getting traded, Joe Sakic wants way too much for him, and if he keeps playing how he has been so far this year, then there's no reason to trade him at all.

Slightly contradictory statement. If he keeps playing the way he is this year there may be no reason to trade him (there actually wasn't anyway) but if he keeps playing as he is now then people will consider him to be easily worth what Sakic was asking for by the season's end (41+41=82 over 82 games which would have put him 7th in scoring last year). If anything the need to trade him may become greater.
