Description

    Agree with the folks above. But even more delusion is that thinking Tavares is going to deliver the Leafs a Cup. He has won one round of playoffs in his career. What's his magic?

    Tavares is merely an addition that helps the leafs. He does not deliver the leafs a cup, but him as your 1B paired with Matthews as your 1A gives you that 1-2 punch up the middle. Just like Sid and Gino

    Sid and Geno are generational talents. Tavares and Matthews don't come close to them. Also, defense is still an issue.

    IF JT ends up a UFA, I could see the Leafs offering him a one year max term deal. They can do it next year and I could see him possibly do it.

    Cjacks. Tavares isn't the player he was. Leafs would rather keep Kadri and JVR IMO than have Tavares and you want the Leafs to give up more? No other team would offer that much.
