You berate my trade having fun on this site and you expect the Ducks to give up all that for Duchene? Wow, that explains your arogance and negative comments. And just in case you forgot, this site osnt real, its for fun.

Doesn't meet what Sakic is looking for, no established Dman involved in the trade. Sakic reportedly stipulated a young established D plus a 1st plus. Whether you like it or not, or agree with Sakic's valuation of Duchene or not that's what he's supposedly looking for. That may have altered somewhat after acquiring Nemeth but I doubt it.

Well would Colorado want Vatanen? If not there probably isn’t a fit.

It would be more likely but again probably wouldn't work unless they see him as a third pair stop gap for a few seasons or plan to move Barrie (or EJ but that's even less likely than Barrie). I don't see the Ducks as a good trading partner for the Avs (in this scenario) and I'd agree there probably isn't a fit, but that's only in my opinion of course. smile

I had read that Sakic was may also be looking into young D Prospects and Larsson is NHL ready but is behind a very deep blue line and doesn't require to have to go through waivers.

If that's the case (and I can't say I've read anything to indicate it, though that doesn't mean it isn't so, it just means I haven't read it but you have) then it will need more than one prospect D I would have thought. I haven't read anything to indicate Sakic having dropped his valuation or altered it in any way but is willing to wait and see which teams, if any, get desperate enough to make the right kind of offer. Big problem with Larsson if he's in that position is that he adds to a group of players already in that 'almost but not quite there' group - Zadorov, Mironov, Lindholm, Siemens (who can't even get a look in at the moment in spite of being an obvious choice to pair with Barrie), Bigras, even Geertsen & Meloche at the outside, and only Meloche is a RHD out of those so that's why I don't see the fit. He would need to be a significant improvement on every one of that group.
