Lindholm's value is very similar to Mac's one. I would do something like this (as a habs fan):
Pacioretty, first round pick (MTL) and Scherbak to Anaheim
Lindholm and Lehkonen to Colorado
Mackinnon and first round pick (ANA) to Montreal

id rather keep lindholm rather than trade him for mackinnon and some picks. the habs would also keep their best prospect in their system.

I agree, I like how this comes together but I feel that MTL is giving up a lot. I feel a little better if there was also some relieve coming on D. (Maybe with another trade and different partner)

It would be great for MTL to finally have a #1 center (Mack + Drouin were beauties back in Halifax) signed to a long-term team-friendly contract!

But it comes down to the Avs being willing to part with Mack after trading Duchene! They would end up with a great defense, and a few picks... but they would trade a franchise player for

Lindholm
Juulsen
1st rd pick 2019
3rd pick 2019

We might also be overpaying for Lindholm...maybe not a first pick, a second would be more appropriate.

Also, I would rather trade Pacioretty instead of Chucky.

But at the end of the day, i would be really happy with any version of that trade

No chance Anaheim does that. We could just add to Lindholm and trade him for MacKinnon. Which makes WAY more sense. Typical Montréal. Dream on.

For the last time Galchenyuk+Scherbak+2018 1st round pick doesn't come anywhere close enough to landing you Hampus Lindholm.
