Savard has a good cap hit but is he really an upgrade over Carrick for the extra few million? I love moving Bozak out but it's hard to think he'll bring back a cheap top 4 D.
Wilson? He literally does nothing well or even above average.

Why not combine all the Leafs you have in 3 separate deals into one deal for a player that will make the team better?

Savard is a pure shutdown d manwhich the leafs lack so that was my thinking over Carrick. Maybe its not needed but Carrick hasn't looked to good to me this year and we have a few other d men that do what he does as an offensive d man. Wilson just comes in to add what i think is a skilled C but im open to other ideas for a 3rd line skilled C.

i would gladly combine all 4 guys into one deal but who would that get you?

Dude? David Savard isn't getting moved it's either Jack Johnson or Ryan Murray by all accounts. David Savard has 4 years left and you really think a pending UFA in Tyler Bozak+3rd round pick lands him. Yeah get real here.
