They have reto bera, plus halak and seidenberg are off the books next year which frees up 5.25 million. Gibson is a reliable starter and berra or halak would both be adequate as backups to him. Halak isn’t the main part of this trade for anaheim. The second and third plus the clearing of cap space at the end of the year are the main parts

Guys, Price is available. Upgrading from Halak and Greiss to 300 year old Miller will not get you anywhere and most big name goalies are taken. Seldom does a chance at a big name goalie come around often. Take it! Retention, cap dumps, who cares! Just give us some of those sweet, sweet prospects and 1st rounders!
