Off season moves

So you think I overpaid by 250k?

You retain you suffer for 1 year.

I guess I love having no dead cap becasue it could come back to bit you in the ass.

If my team is not good enough to win then no amount as acceptable but having it all may not be enough either. If my team is great and significantly under. I can live with whatever it is I can’t use.
The top 10 teams as far as cap used, 5 will miss the playoffs.
The best 3 teams, only 1 is in the top 10, they are 10th.
Then there is the Rangers who will be in the bottom 10 of cap used.</div></div>
Ok use the Bruins this year... whats your dead cap number?

He could get us a first but if I put a first people would of lost their minds. If he cont. to play top 6 mins and puts up points then he would get us a late round pick. The same with Mike R if he shows out this playoffs he could get us a 2nd for the 3rd that I put in here.

Right then throw in Wags cap for playing in the AHL and your over 2 million. It’s one thing to pay that money out but it’s another when you can’t use that 2 million.

Disagree because when your going for the cup every cap hit counts. I’d rather move him for a pick then a cap hit.

All three have term and good contacts IMO. Reilly and Haula are good players but don’t have room after the trades I made. What’s your thoughts on P.K. SUBBAN if not Klingberg?

Done with Chychrun, done with d man other than cheap depth.
Nucks trade is solid. But they are not moving Lysell. And Nucks don’t retain for that. And there is still a salary cap next year too.</div></div>
What does Dallas need for that rental?

I might agree with you on Kadri but as far as not getting Chychrun without sending Lysell or Lohrei I don't think so. The issue with Vaakanainen is he does not have a season of playing in the NHL. If you look at a very shot sample size he would be on pace to put of more points then Chychrun. As far as Beecher goes he was playing 2nd team PP for team USA because of this guy named Jack Hughes playing with the first team. That along with his injury set him back but he is having a good year at Michigan so all of that plus a first round pick is more then good IMO.

Jake D part of a bigger trade we need
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>hairyberry</b></div><div>You could probably get a good RW for that. But then we need a 2C. And a top pair LHD. And a legit starting goalie. And then next year Bergy might be gone and we'll need a 1C. There's just way too many holes on this team to bother with throwing away draft picks to try and patch up one of them. I say just trade Debrusk for another underperforming young guy, let the season play out, and make the tough decision to flip the rebuild switch in the offseason.</div></div>
I don’t think we have as many holes as you think. Coyle with Hall is not enough and as much as I like Smith he is not a top 6. Brining in Forsberg would really help out this team. The goaltending and D will get better. They are still building chemistry.

After winning the Lady Byng Memorial Trophy for his sportsmanlike conduct and high standard of playing ability during the 2018-19 campaign, Aleksander Barkov of the Florida Panthers began his acceptance speech with a spicy line.
“We have more fans from Finland than from Florida here,”
So we’ll see this season if they extend him.

There’s a lot of players that could take more but depending on a hometown discount and comparable contracts it’s not out of the realm of possibility that Charlie takes a deal close to what Hamilton got.
Not saying your wrong but Barkov could also get 11 sure but also he might wanna leave some on the table to help spread around a little bit to build a championship team like what the Bruins have.
