Yes, see Hayes for reference. Bruins will have to eat 50% and still only get a single low end draft pick.

Nurse is not a bad player - he is paid 1.5-3.25 too much. Same for goes for Campbell.

Boston also have the problem, that all the other teams know that Bruins has very little cap flex.

Yes, Newhook will likely only be traded for a player with a long term contract or other ready to play RFA's. Kuz has the same problem as Schiefele, their attitude seems off and lack of compete on Defense end.

Avs have no interest in trading a good cheap backup, unless a reliable replacement is lined up.

Trade asset. Wings might push for PO this year - likely not - Im guessing Tampa, Panthers, Sabres, and maybe senators and Bruins are ahead of them in division. It still a very fair value for Perron.

It's 1st being available to wings, when they start to compete again. Foudy will be a solid 3/4th line guy in a year.

If the cap goes up 4mil in 2024/2025, there is room for Landy. Olofsson is a rental, the rest is either under contract or RFAs. Toews can get more, the problem is finding a team that needs top Dman next 1-5 years and have the capspace and assets to trade.

They could, they can also risk having to pay him his QO at 2.5. Ducks have a lot of other young players coming through, macDermid wil replace Deslauriers as brusher on the 4th line until the ducks young guns have learned to be more physical in year or two.

Bo Over Toews
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>NMAvsFan</b></div><div>The injury history thing is a bit overwrought - lots of players have an injury history prior to reaching the NHL; we just don't hear about it but Bo never had an injury history prior to the NHL so we only see what happened once he got to the NHL. Think about Jack Hughes, he missed a ton of time his first few season but got that monster contract because he produced. Bo is a producer in all areas of the ice and his comps make $7.5M or more. If the Avs sign him to a bridge and he produces the way he has or even a little better, the price on his next deal will be higher than the figure here, probably around $9M. So, pay him the $7.5M now or more later or risk losing him when he hits UFA. If he gets injured again, they can always LTIR him.</div></div>
The problem is the combination of Injuries - a mix between concussions and lower body. The upside is clearly there, but there is also a legit chance he'll only play 40-50 games a season and not be available in PO.
And Malgin contract seems like an overpay - Bottom 6, that can't PK or bring physicality to a PO run.

That the problem. all that trading doesn't make them better or give them better assets to trade away. Franky is quality backup, that has proven himself in cup-run. Connor Ingram isn't any better, arguably he's a downgrade.

To change backup goalie and yo gain three 2nd round picks costs two first round picks. That seems stupid for a win now team.

Absolutely no reason to move now. If they can't agree on an extension, they'll probably trade him after next season. He'll get a Panarin/Pastrnak type deal.

That bottom 6 isn't winning cups.</div></div>
beside from injuries' this year, the biggest problem was that nothing got produced in he playoffs, when Mikko and Mac weren't playing on the same line. Maybe get the leafs to retain a little bit more and then there will be more money to spent on bottom 6.
Maybe an overpay- but it gives the avs a really strong two year window to win another cup. Don't think Tavares will be moved simply because of his NMC.

I think comes down to what Toews wants in his next contract. If the Avs and him are miles apart, I can see him being traded for something like this.
