<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>PinkWhitney</b></div><div>Justin Williams is most definitely getting in the hall of fame, anyone who doesn't think that is an idiot. He's got 3 Stanley Cups and a lot of points under his belt.
Quick is not behind Bobrovsky, Rinna, Vasilevsky lmao are you high? None of those guys have won cups except Vas who just won his first. He's also very new to the NHL so settle down bud, by the time he retires Quick will be in the Hall of Fame.
When I say top 5, I mean top 5. Just look at the NHL goalie rankings dude, it's not hard. Just because a goalie doesn't win a Vezna doesn't mean he can't be a hall of famer especially when he has 2 stanley cups.</div></div>
Honestly, "thinks that, is an idiot", "are you high", "Settle down bud". What is your problem? Learn how to talk to people or don't open your mouth.
Justin Williams is not making the hhof, I'm not going to argue about it because instead I'll just make a poll and we'll see how many "idiots" exist.
I mean I don't see how he's ahead of them? Rinne was a top 3 finalist for the Vezina 4 times and won once. Vasilevskiy has a 3 top 3 Vezina finishes including 1 win and a cup, and Bobrovsky has two Vezina wins.
Quick has the Smythe which is very impressive but outside of that, he really has no shot. Also, like I said, the HHOF is extremely strict on goalies so...

How many goalies win 2 stanley cups and remain top 5 in the league for a decade? Can't see Quick not getting in. He was known as being the most athletic goalie in the world.</div></div>
Justin Williams is definitely not getting into the hhof, nor is Carter.
Honestly the only players making the HHOF from the Kings cup teams is Kopitar and Doughty
I'm not saying that Quick won't get in but he's behind Lundqvist, Price, Holtby, Bobrovsky, Rask, Vasilevskiy, Rinne is the running.
Also he wasn't top 5 in the league for a decade. He has 3 top 5 Vezina finishes and 0 wins
Lundqvist is honestly the only recent goalie to be even close to that dominant with 10 years in a row of top 6 Vezina voting

He’s 4th in goals scored among active players, one of 2 active players to hit 60 goals in a season and multiple 90 plus point seasons. Ridiculous to have Matthews in there over Bergeron, who’s been one of the best two way players of his entire generation. Need to see more out of Matthews to declare him a potential hall of famer. Don’t give me 50 or 60 goal potential, cause potential is only potential and not proven. Gletzlaf should definitely be up there as well.</div></div>
I think he forgot Stamkos by accident

Jeff Carter MAYBE but probably not. I feel like if you have 3 stanley cup appearances and two of them victories and have over 700 career points you should be a lock, but what do I know.</div></div>
I feel like Quick doesn't have the best case and the HHOF is very selective on goalies. There's only been 7 NHL goalies since 1990 to be inducted (Roy, Hasek, Smith, Fuhr, Vachon, Belfour, Brodeur). That's one goalie every 4+ years.
If Jeff Carter is really not hhof material unless Justin Williams is too

If Kariya can get in so can Palffy.
As for Marleau, quite alot of HOF'ers only got in because of their longevity.</div></div>
Yeah I mean I can see him making it for sure because of his point totals and games played but realistically I'd choose Logan Couture before I chose Marleau.
Palffy was a great player that is forgotten. Kind of reminds me of Neely but Neely did make the HHOF

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>gmgb</b></div><div>I'd argue Rinne gets underrated because of the market he plays in, just like Price gets overrated because of where he plays.
I really don't see any of Bobrovsky, Rask, Vasilevskiy, Holtby being ahead of Rinne, or having much of a shot. Too many more deserving goalies like Barrasso, Cujo, Vernon, Tretiak that still haven't been recognized.</div></div>
Most of them probably won't get in, honestly none of them have a case if Tim Thomas doesn't lol.
But Bobrovsky would be a lock with another Vezina imo.
Rask because of reputation/team success would probably be a lock with another Vezina or a cup
Vasilevskiy is just so damn young and already has a Vezina/cup so I can see him being a hhof
Holtby can if he becomes elite again and wins another Vezina probably
The problem with Rinne, imo, is that he's old so he doesn't have the chance to win anything to cement his legacy. I will admit he's underrated.
This is also based on awards which is a basic way of approaching it but probably the way they will gauge who makes it

Yeah but it's more about who's a lock not predictions because if Matthews quit today, he wouldn't. Yeah if his career is as expected he will but that's a big IF. Otherwise we can say that anyone who puts up a couple great seasons is a lock

Rinne isn't in the same tier as Lundqvist. Honestly Lundqvist is underrated because of his lack of trophy case but he was kind of like Luongo where he was just ELITE for such a long time.
Price I think became slightly overrated because of the hart trophy win even though I'd still call him a lock.
Honestly Bobrovsky, Rask, Vasilevskiy, Holtby have better cases then Rinne

I think it's tough because you have players that are not locks so it's kind of like a prediction like Mack, Matthews. Also Fleury and Backstrom are not what I would call locks.
I'd say for goalies there is a strong case (but not a lock) for Rask and Bobrovsky
You forgot to mention Chara. Josi is probably in too because of his Norris voting history and winning this year but then there is also Subban and Suter that have legitimate cases as well but I'd probably put them in the Burns tier as possible but not guaranteed.
For forwards I'd say Perry, Hall, and Draisaitl get in on the Hart trophy argument. You also have Getzlaf, Backstrom, Tavares, etc who may make it. Honestly Marchand has a case and so does Ryan O'Reilly. It can really change quickly because a guy like Benn (imo) would have been a lock if Dallas won and he continued playing well into the finals and won the Smythe

I don't know if Kane is still over Pasta.
Over the past two seasons (under the assumptions of a prorated 82 game season) they each averaged 105 points but I'd lean towards Pasta because of his goal scoring ability and the recency factor.
Then again Kane has a lot less to work with
