If you're talking about Caps fans on this site, most of them want Burakovsky out.
I'm pretty sure that they were all serious at first, but as you are getting picked apart for it, you realize how ridiculous these are and state that they're jokes.

The point is that NOBODY says a lot of these things. What was the point of doing this if you had to make up at least 1/3 of them?

Thread:
The most annoying/incorrect things each team's fans say
The most annoying/incorrect thing I've heard a Rangers/Islanders fan say is:
"Every team's fans sometimes have a player they overvalue, or a prediction for the team that is unlikely. Now even if they DON'T think their team is going to be very good, and many people do, this would still count. Just the most annoying thing each team's fans say, or the most incorrect, or something people say way too much. Just a mix.
Of course for the NY teams, i'm not including myself, as my opinions wouldn't be my opinions if i didn't agree with them (and same with everyone else).
Ducks Fans - "Not sure why a lot of people aren't really big Kesler fans."
Coyotes Fans - "Domi will probably be a superstar in the NHL."
Bruins Fans - "McAvoy will win the Calder."
Sabres Fans - "The Sabres should go in the Leafs/Oilers category for teams that will likely win a bunch of cups."
Flames Fans - "Gaudreau is right up there with Matthews and Eichel."
Hurricanes Fans - "Aho is almost in the Matthews/Laine/Eichel category."
Blackhawks Fans - "Toews is still a top 10 NHL player."
Avalanche Fans - "MacKinnon is going to be as good as McDavid."
Blue Jackets Fans - "Jenner is a future NHL star for sure."
Stars Fans - "Lindell is a future #1 guy on the average team's blueline."
Red Wings Fans - "The Wings could probably get a 1st round pick and a really top prospect for Gust Nyquist."
Oilers Fans - "McDavid will and should win the Hart trophy this year, even though his team's so bad."
Panthers Fans - "They are a very good team for the short term future."
Kings Fans - "Kempe is a future star if not superstar."
Wild Fans - "Dumba will eventually be considered one of the very best defensemen in the NHL."
Canadiens Fans - "Galchenyuk could get the Habs a 1st round pick, a good, young roster player, and a top prospect."
Predators Fans - "The Preds have one of the best prospect groups in the league."
Devils Fans - "Hall will win the Hart trophy."
Islanders Fans - "Bailey is a superstar just because of this year."
Rangers Fans - "The Rangers are still going to make the playoffs this year."
Senators Fans - "The Senators should trade Karlsson."
Flyers Fans - "Oskar Lindblom is a top 5-10 NHL prospect."
Penguins Fans - "The Penguins will win the cup this year, sign Tavares, and then win the cup again."
Sharks Fans - "Vlasic is one of the very best defensemen in the NHL."
Blues Fans - "Pietrangelo should go right up there with Doughty/Burns/Karlsson/Hedman."
Lightning Fans - "NO DOUBT ABOUT IT Vasilevskiy is the best goalie in the NHL."
Leafs Fans - "Matthews is as good as McDavid, if not better."
Canucks Fans - "The Canucks are never going to win the draft lottery, and have no chance at getting a top 3 pick this year."
Golden Knights Fans - "The Knights will sign Perron and Neal for sure, both of them. No question."
Capitals Fans - "Burakovsky could eventually be a superstar, and it looks kind of likely."
Jets Fans - "Myers is a top pairing d-man."
Now, if you see this list, and you are a fan of one of these teams and you don't say the thing for that team, i am not talking about all fans for these teams, just quite a few of them. Not every fan of each team says that team's thing on this list, just some. So i'm not saying you do it for sure. Also, feel free to post your own list!"

They should have a fan come down for each event as well. Also, for shooting accuracy, they should have targets with a picture of Marchand's face.

Thread:
Carey Price’s cap hit. With regards to his trade value.
Here's a rough breakdown of valuations in AGM:
1st round prospect = guaranteed 1st liner or top pairing defenseman.
2nd round prospect = practically guaranteed 1st liner or top pairing defenseman. Might as well say he's the equivalent of a 1st round prospect, in which case, see above.
3rd round prospect or later = who cares? Unless your team wants him, in which case, see above.
Age 27 or younger = shouldn't trade, might still be good
Age 28 or older = almost 30, see below
Age 30 or older = declining, too old, no value
Age 35 or older = corpse on skates or cap dump
$3M or less = fair salary
Over $3M = overpaid
Over $6M = albatross contract
1 year term = rental, not worth giving up assets for
2 year term = still a rental, still not worth it
3 or 4 year term = maybe worth trading for, as long as the player is 27 or younger and has a salary less than $3M
5 year or longer term = terrible contract, stuck with that player until they become a corpse on skates
All you have to do to determine a player's value is cross reference between those categories. For example: a 30 year old player with a $6M cap hit for 5 years, is declining, old, has no value and will be a cap dump in the final year, and has a terrible, albatross contract.
I'm only half kidding and mostly exaggerating, but you actually see this stuff all the time.
For Price specifically, he hits all the worst misconceptions. IRL, he's worth less in trade value than an elite player, but is just as, if not more important than an elite player in terms of value to your team.
His contract lessens the number of teams that can manage his cap hit, but not his value to the few teams that can. There are rarely more than a handful of teams seriously interested in any one player, and we continue to see multiple pick/prospect packages when a big name is sold off.
I see "Price isnt worth as much because of his contract" from the same people that are proposing trades for him. If they think the contract is that bad, why do they want him? If you're trading for him, you've obviously found a way to make it work, and any good GM IRL can do the same.
It's just posturing in most cases, with the contract as an excuse to sell the idea that you don't have to give up as much, or can get Montreal to foot part of the bill.
Also, $3M a year for 8 years retention is not something you just throw in to make a trade work. That trade had better be $24M worth of awesome for Montreal. Normally it's not compensated for at all, it's just expected. Maybe on a 2 or 3 year deal for a lesser player, but not on an 8 year deal for Carey frickin Price.
