<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>tupty</b></div><div>I'm not a Leafs guy, but I know they still need to dump cap and ACGMs involving the Leafs seem to throw out Jarnkrok's name a lot. Foudy's contract can be fully buried, he has some NHL experience if they want to start him or call him up, and his cap hit is low if he is called up. I wonder if you could take advantage of their situation if you added in a late round pick? That would of course push one of the other CBJ LWs in your proposed lineup out, and I'm not sure if CBJ fans like that idea or not.
Leafs fans still seem to expect a 3rd rounder back, but I feel like if that was realistic, it would have happened by now. The season is creeping closer, so the pressure will ratchet up on them to become cap compliant.</div></div>
Probably not. I like Jarnkrok as a role player but that doesn't help with the logjam at forward already.

It looks like the earlier ACGM Pageau trade was actually proposed by a Flyers fan not an Islanders fan so not sure what they would want for him:

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>tupty</b></div><div>I suspect the Bruins value Bussi more than that. It is not that they would never trade him, but they see a future where Ullmark is gone, Swayman is the bonafide starter, and they want a cheaper quality backup. Bussi is currently in line for that unless his play falls off, which may happen. Foudy seems more like he tops out as a middle-6 guy, and the Bruins seem to have plenty of that now and in their pipeline.</div></div>
Kind of figured that was the case, but thought it was worth a shot. Not sure what to do with Foudy since I think someone would actually claim him off of waivers, but I would rather keep some of our other guys over him.

Just trade us Pinto then you don't have to worry about trying to dump other players to free up cap space.

If they retained $1.5 mil I would make this trade. One of our weaknesses is on face offs and JGP is pretty strong in that area.
At that price I think he would still be tradeable the last year if needed.

It may have been posted as a CBJ ACGM, but I doubt it was posted by an actual CBJ fan.
Edit - just saw the ACGM you are referencing. Yuck - Jackets don't do that trade.

So far the only "done" deal that would even have a chance is Peeke to Buffalo.

If this is the plan, we will stick with Jarmo. It is one thing to try to solicit feedback on the trade values of diffeent players, but I think you are mostly just encouraging the trolls who don't think any of the Blue Jackets have any trade value and should be given away for free. Maybe we just wait a year and see how the team looks with an actual coach who may or may not be a garbage human being, but may actually still be a decent coach.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Jacketsman61</b></div><div>You wouldn’t want Stankoven?? You are entitled to your opinion but…</div></div>
Stankoven looks ok, but is small and is putting up points as an overager in his D1 and D2 years so I don't think he is worth trading Roslovic and Cuelemans and taking on Suter's contract.
No point in trading Roslovic away and then trading for Dvorak when Roslovic is the better player.
Dvorak is at least a million oberpaid and by trading Roslovic with 1 million retention you are effectively paying Dvorak 2 million more than he is worth.
For the Edmonton trade I would try swapping Bean and a 4th for Kulak. EDM saves 3ook and CBJ get an upgrade at 3LD.

No point in trading Roslovic to move up 7 spots and then trading Bemstrom and two 3rds for Dvorak. Roslovic is better than Dvorak and cheaper.

Playoff
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>PantsOffnJacket</b></div><div>Lindholm really does fit the jackets well.
But it's all about his value, he's only cracked 80pts once, most years he's a 50-60pts guy, but his 200ft game has lots of value too. On a true contender he's a solid 2C , which is why he ends up playing 1C on a non contender. So again, wtf is his actual value..
Sillinger, knazko or Malatesta , 2024 1st(top5 protection), and Roslovic
This is what I'd offer. Lindholm would also have to sign an extension for the trade to even be considered.</div></div>
I think the Horvat trade is a good comparable trade.
Conditional 1st, middle six winger (Anthony Beauvillier), recent 2nd round prospect.
The Islanders don't make this trade unless they think they have a good shot at resigning Horvat and the Jackets don't make a Lindholm trade unless we think we have a good chance to resign him.
For the Jackets that would be:
Conditional 2024 1st, Roslovic and Luca Del Bel Belluz', but I am sure they would want Sillinger instead.

LOL - you are correct. Hayes would need at least $2mil retained.
For the rest of the ACGM, I think you are trading too much for Schmaltz. Take out the Jackets 2024 2nd.
No reason to trade for Addison since Jircek will probably make the team this year and we have to many RD already.
We need to try to sign or trade for a 2LD to replace Gavrikov. We have other prospects who could fill the 3LD slot so no need for Mikkola.

Probably more like 5th right now. I would put him above Cuelemans and Chinakov on your list:
Jiricek
Johnson
Sillinger
Mateychuk
Marchenko
Cuelemans
Chinakhov
As dk325 mentioned above, Jake doesn't fit the timeline and Marchenko does.

I am saying that we would not want to trade assests for a wing who will probably not resign or would need to be resigned for at least $8mil per year when we have much larger holes to fill.
We would also not trade Marchenko unless it was in a package for a 1C with term.

Easily. The Jackets already have Gaudreau and Laine and don't need another high-priced wing. The Jackets need Centers and 2LD with term. Guentzel is a rental that is unlikely to resign and the other pieces don't address the Jackets needs.

I could see the Jackets having some interest in Kuznetsov, but even at the price of 2 2nd's you would need about 2 million retained. Otherwise I think they go for Hayes, Schmaltz or Lindholm.
