Probably a little much for Connor

Drop Teuvo from the Lindholm deal, he's arguably the better player. "Oh Teuvo only had 30 points" but Teuvo when he's healthy is a 70 point producer and Lindholm needed Tkachuk and Gaudreau to rich the same levels.

Why the hell are you just giving one of the best goaltending prospects in hockey away?????? What? For what reason?

CBJ pass.

I'm leery of any G who gets to benefit from the wonder of CAR's D.

Flames pass. Nothing particularly interesting in that offer

Oh come on now, every team would take Lindholm in a heartbeat over Teuvo, it's a seriously long stretch that Teuvo would be "arguably the better player ".

In what world? The better defensive player? Analytically it's Teravainen. Better play maker? Teuvo. Goal scoring probably goes to Lindholm, fair. But Lindholm is so overrated. He's a 50-60 point C that played with Tkachuk and Gaudreau and it's why he's not been able to repeat it. Teravainen has multiple 70+ point seasons playing with Aho + 1 (because Svechnikov does not play with Aho despite some misconceptions!) yet Lindholm struggles entirely? Not to mention, he was the inferior player to Teravainen when they were LINEMATES. It's very rare you can compare them in the same situation, these two you definitely can.

A sixth round pick for a waivers exempt goalie prospect that was taken in the 2nd round? I would make that trade.

I think your mixing up the facts, it's Lindholm who's got multiple 70+ point seasons(2) to Teuvos one 🙂
Lindholm draws way more penalties than he takes, Teuvo the opposite. Lindholm has more takeaways than giveaways, Teuvo the opposite. Etc etc.
And not an important stat but a fun one, Lindholm had more hits this last season (98) than Teuvo has in the last five(!) seasons(91) 🙂

Where Lindholm played between Tkachuk and Gaudreau... two of the most dominant wingers in the NHL. I'm including Teuvo's 63 in 68 in the covid shortened year, he would hve hit 70 if the world didn't fall apart. You know, where Lindholm had 54 in 70.

Lindholm has more hits and takeaways because he plays the majority of his time on the ice without the puck. Defensively, Teuvo is the better player (and Lindholm is very good defensively, not a Selke candidate as some believe, but good). They're from the same draft, so age is negligible. Both are pending UFAs. Teuvo's the better player... That's just it.

I feel it's a bit much for Kochetkov... Maybe if it was a 7th it'd be worth the risk.
