Resign danault and Armia market value
Its gonna be alot harder in your division next season though. Boston Tampa Florida Toronto alot harder than the north was this year. Still the young guys get better its gonna be interesting. Caufield and Suzuki are alot of fun.

Good thing you're not MB.
Dubois is never worth all those assets, he's been awful in this playoff

No, we won't. Too much cash tied up in Drouin and Byron already anyways.
Sorry but Drouin isn't going anywhere. Whatever he's going through, GMs can't expect to trade for a player who cannot play, especially Buff

Icing our best team for PO
I think that is the best D lineup we could ask for. I think you are pretty close on the forwards too IF Drouin is not back for the playoffs. I don't think they split up Toffoli-Suzuki-Anderson or the Byron-Evans-Lehkonen lines though. So that leaves us with Caufield-Kotkaniemi-Armia\Perry

What did you expect with Merrill? He’s a defensive defenseman. He was good last night in the fact that his night was quiet, and it’s not like Kulak has proved to be any better (especially on the right side).

That's good cause no one is giving up a package value of a 1st + 2-3rd's for Dunn. I would expect his value tops out at 2-2nds as almost every Blues fan and ACGM predicts his value to be.

Nope.
Dunn + Hoffman (50% retained) for Armia, Lehkonen, 1st (or Brook and 2nd).

We already have Armia and Caufield who aren’t in the lineup. Plus Poehling has played well for Laval this year. We don’t need Pearson.

Montreal exp draft strategy
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>CLR</b></div><div>There was better player available than Drouin for less last summer ... Drouin is supposed to produce offensively . He is put in all the better situation ( pp, good line mates, etc ), and still only produces 40-45 points . I don’t see a lot of team calling for him at 5,5</div></div>
Assuming MB really was shopping him, not finding a suitor doesnt mean no one wanted him. Means no one was willing to pay the price MB wanted for him.
If MB was willing to lose the trade in terms of value, he could trade Drouin tomorrow. Once again, thats if you are hell bent on trading him at a loss. Not sure why anyone would.
No one is doubting hes soft and hasnt been able to score this year but that doesnt mean you lose him for nothing while hes still giving you decent value.
Losing assets for nothing is what bad management does. If you want to get rid of him ,fine but make sure you get something for him.

It's really a shame that Evans is scratched tbh. He played very well recently. At least better than Byron/Drouin/Suzuki/Lehkonen.... Though Lehky and Byron seems to play well together on a 4th line

Moreover, the question is we better like Evans or Armia/Byron in? I am not sure I want chariot back with Weber</div></div>
I'd have to agree with you. As much as I'd like to see Caufield, barring an injury, there's literally no room for him.
For Chiarot I'd be willing to give him another shot once he's back. The duo last year was insane how good they were, whereas this year they've been meh....
Maybe it depends on matchups. Let's say Habs are playing the Jets, maybe use that pairing. If its a more speedy team, then split them.

Kulikov isn't a top 4
So I wouldn’t go higher than a 3rd.
And pairings should be:
Chiarot-Weber
Edmundson-Petry
🇷🇺Kulikov-Romanov 🇷🇺
Nice depth piece

To be honest the last two games he wasn't great, but that's not only him because the entire team couldn't complete a GD pass. Overall this season he has been decent playing with the young guys, and over the past 2 seasons he has been solid when healthy and played very well when Keith was out. He's not going to be a sexy addition per se, but he's a reliable veteran that can play whatever role he is given.
