Thought he may sign in Boston...not surprised in the slightest Vegas was able to get it done. The rich get richer!!

Exactly, and before you know it he's fetching a mid 1st and a solid prospect. :tearsofjoy
Though it must be said the Knights cannot come close to affording him. But yeah, larger point.

Sennies Retool Redditor Disapproved Edition
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Chabotrrorr</b></div><div>No need for Hakanpaa or the 3rd round pick. Keep Bernard-Docker. This allows the Sens to keep Chychrun and still sign the UFAs. The only problem: We haven't solved the goalie problem. I do like the addition of another solid forward (Toffoli), but I still think we need a solid goalie.</div></div>
JBD honestly hasn't impressed me this year; he's been wildly inconsistent, struggles to make safe passes, and routinely gets outmuscled in puck battles. I think he can grow into a solid shutdown guy in another 2-3 years but the Sens frankly don't have that kind of time to spare rn.
I fully agree that the goalie situation is a total ****ing mess, no mistake about it...Dorion really screwed the pooch between the Murray and Korpi signings. My hope here, as stated above, is that a new coaching team will help achieve some positive goalie voodoo for once and avoid the Sens making a desperation trade or buyout (which I feel like is the exact kind of shortsighted thinking that's caused this rebuild to stall out).
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Leafsfan98</b></div><div>This a a projection for next year though... When Norris can return</div></div>
I don't follow. This is for the 2024-25 season and I assume Norris will be rehabbing his shoulder all through it, as stated above. If he does return for 2025-26, the cap rises and Giroux's contract falls off so there's plenty of space to bring him in while also bridging Greig.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Chabotrrorr</b></div><div>Only trade of interest is the Washington trade. The Sens would want a 1rst++ if they had to part with Chychy. Why part with Kastelic if you don't have to? The Fast trade could be interesting, but I don't see why the Sens would give up a 4th on top of Branny, but I think it's interesting.</div></div>
yeah its porbbaly more of a 1 for 1 for Fast.
Also not sure we get more than that for Chychrun, also not a fan of Kastelic and Rees has to go on waivers next year so i dont want more than a 22 man roster

Resigning and Staying Deep
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Chabotrrorr</b></div><div>You're right. He's not JT Miller. He's Matt Duchene before he went to Nashville. That was 8x7. In all honesty, I could see Lindholm getting any of 8x3/4, 7x6, or 6.5x8.</div></div>
He's not Duchene. Duchene was a P/PG player going into that contract with 31 goals that year. Lindholm is way below in terms of production and won't get even 20 goals this year. 8 mil per season is Miller's deal. Lindholm will be below that unless another Nashville want to buy him out. I wouldn't go higher than 6.25, and definitely not for more than 6 years.
If he wants a massive payday, he'll leave. If he wants to compete for a cup, he might accept a decent offer to stay.

Decent team, not too sold on Søgaard yet, but I would say maybe R2 or conference final, forward group is a decent 2 way mix :)

That's where Lyubushkin and fleury come in as depth to help the pairing have a chance to develop chemistry.
