Maybe he wants to experience the passion of playing for MTL, where a regular saturday night win is celebrated harder than all of Tampa's cup combined.</div></div>

The only thing that would bring Stam to MTL is st louis. He's been a habs killer his whole career. I dont see him going from sunny no tax winning all the time in tampa to rebuilding slushy snow tax mecha in montreal. + Hes a toronto boy. Pipe dream at best, hes also 37

I agree with you I just feel like anderson will be a bad vibe on the team if he has the same season as 23/24. He's not a bottom pair checker and he cant play in the top 6. Maybe you can keep him if someone gets injured

I rather have anderson for 3 more years at 5.5 then couturier for 6 years at 7.75. PLUS deslauriers is washed we really dont need him on our team, AGAIN. Rather overpay for a short term UFA then cross ur fingers couturier produces

It would be floridas 2025 pick from calgary . probably 20-30 range. If you want an impact 60pt Center now who has chemistry already with caufield i have no problem giving up a pick that may only turn into an impact nhler in 4 seasons

What about every other trade on this. When was the last time a 21 7th round pick goalie was a sure bet? Look at all the other goalies who won best NCAA and tell me if and when they actually pan out. Levi like all other goalie prospects except maybe an elite 3 are wild cards, ESPECIALLY at the age he's at. This is a fun little trade for a fun little local. Not a lot of thought and you wouldnt trade a substantial sure bet for a 21 year old goalie. Cayden primeau had the same hype as levi at his peak, didnt mean anything.

pld trade
French big scorer who under performed in Washington. Russian winger with 1 year contract who can find chemistry on a Russian team. Petry the best player in the trade who can look like a monster behind Carlson, can b an X factor for cup contender if he plays the way he usually does. For jenson who has 1 year left at 2.5 who will give u solid middle d minutes. It’s a great trade. Washington turns mantha into a legit offensive dman with good term. Maybe 1 year too long but whatever

Simply put we dont have Left handed forwards who score. Our PP1 last year was Toffolo, suzuki, caufield, petry, shea/perry (all Right handed) That takes options away from you on the PP. getting a natural sniper like this is awesome for us. Better than Tatar. Now we somehow need a PMD but i dont see it, prob gonna be romanov or norlinder. Also hope we sign perry, i just feel perry willl feel slanted getting a min deal after his stellar year.

Protect ALLEN convince PRICE to waive no trade - Seattle Expansion
It's not about what's happening now. We all know price is a good goalie. I don't want to part with him. I'm talking about an expansion strategy that lets us keep Jake Allen and Price. 13m in salary next season for a soon to be 34 year old goalie with 5 years left on a deal wouldn't make sense for Seattle. Sure he has star power, but I wouldn't be quick to sign a goalie with that much term and money at 34 years old. Especially in a flat cap post pandemic world where we don't even know if NHL clubs are going to be able to be at completely full capacity next year. I say its a good strategy to keep both goalies. Because if thigs stay this way, and we expose Allen he's gone.
