Strome to Habs
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>vosse9</b></div><div>Didn’t want to get too aggressive with the deal. Could take Lias out or maybe change the second pick to another 2nd rounder</div></div>
You didn't want to get aggressive with the trade and decided to ask for Montreal's 2nd Best RW and LD prospect who are basically in their top 5 for prospects (Norlinder is 5 Ylonen is 6 that's if you don't count Suzuki or KK but do include Poehling) not to mention that making this trade leaves Montreal with only Caufield and Teasdale (whose naturally a Centre) as our only NHL calibre Wing Prospects, Montreal has an overabundance of Centres and Strome has had his numbers boosted by Panarin.
TL;DR
You asked for 2 top 10 prospects in Montreal's System and 2 picks for 2 Players Montreal has no need for.

Other than those Lines this is definitely a Habs team I can actually get behind with becoming a reality. My problem with the lines is that I personally hate the combo of Domi and Gally Just switch Domi With Danault or Suzuki and I'd be fully on board.

Your Goalies cost 150k too much and your Forwards either cost too much if you include the scratches or not enough if you don't, also your first line has 2 Swedish players

Did you even look at Montreal's Prospects because if you did you would know that Montreal's biggest prospect Needs are Left Wing and Right Wing the only defensive Prospect we're Missing is a 1st Pair RD our Left D prospects consists of Mete, Romanov, Norlinder, Fairbrother, Struble and Harris all with the potential to make the NHL and 2 Romanov and Norlinder with 1st Pairing Potential

My idea was to make a team that could make it to the 3rd round of the playoffs or atleast push a round 2 to 7, which I believe that I accomplished. However who would you remove and add to get a stronger center while staying under the cap???
Edit: the best I thought of was to switch Pageau for Couturier

In theory you would probably be able to knock off 2 of #2C, #2LHD or #2RW in a trade with Montreal if you target Domi or Danault, Chiarot or Armia but I have a feeling [I'm usually wrong about these feelings] that it would cost you atleast a first or a good prospect to pry 2 of them away from MTL and depending on which 2 you target potentially more

Who is the best goal scorer in the NHL
First off, I only count 3 of these players as <strong>Natural Goal Scorers</strong> which to me means they consistently have more goals than assists. Those three are Ovechkin, Matthews, and Aho and to me, the order goes:
1. Ovechkin because of his stretch between January 7th and February 8th where he had 6 multi-goal games 3 of which were hat-tricks one single goal game and 4 goalless games totalling 16 goals in 32 days which includes his teams week break and the All-star suspension.
2. Matthews because as a biased Habs Fan I can't put him first although even with removing my bias Ovi's better but as a hockey fan I know he's better than Aho
3. Aho in the future I could see him potentially passing Matthews or maybe Matthews becomes more all-around and is no longer just a Goal Scorer but as of now nope.

What are the values of domi or Gallagher
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>CD282</b></div><div>So much wrong with this... I won't waste too much time on it, but I'll give you this: Bear and Jones are playing top-4 in Edmonton, they aren't "prospects." Bear has been playing 1RHD since the 2nd game of the season, he's not going anywhere.
Gallagher is a 2nd line player, he's 27 and has 1 year left on his contract. He's not going to return a 1st + a second line player + Yamamoto (a more valuable second line player than Gallagher) or Lavoie.
I don't know what you're smoking, but whatever it is, I'm seriously concerned for your health.</div></div>
I'm not smoking anything just don't follow Edmonton at all so I looked at a prospect list for Edmonton from before the season started so I didn't know how they were progressing so that's on me.
But...
Gallagher definitely is not just a second line player he is part of one of the more effective lines in hockey, he's in his prime and is on one of the best contracts in the League. Also as there is literally no interest to trade Gallagher you would have to offer a package that Montreal actually cant refuse.

I'm my opinion unless you recieve a top 100 player in the NHL any trade where Lehkonen is involved the team receiving him is more likely to win it. Because I believe that if he can put it all together he could have a career similar to Bergeron. Once again this is in my opinion.
Edit put the wrong number

What are the values of domi or Gallagher
Domi is probably worth a decent prospect like Bear or Jones and a 2nd or 3rd round pick
Gallagher is worth Draisaitl or McDavid and 3 firsts emotionally but for a team to actually pry Gallagher away from Montreal you would have to offer a package along the lines of a first round pick, a second line player and a young player/prospect like Yamamoto or Lavoie (this is counting the overpayment Montreal would want in return) I would think

Tatar Real Talk
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BlastnyFromThePastny</b></div><div>Yeah that's fair. I like that you've cleared that up. And I am fine accepting that Gallagher won't go to Colorado. A Timmins trade is likely more of an off-season trade if anything. I think most GMs will fill in the TDL inflation rate with draft picks more so than prospects unless it's a Tyler Madden situation and the team can afford it. This is Colorado's first year being seen as a contender so I don't think there's an urgency to drop any of their perceived top prospects this TDL.</div></div>
Yeah I've unfortunately learned the importance of clarifying yourself in text multiple times so I always try to do that and I'm perfectly fine with an offseason trade I was only curious of what it would take to pry a decent RD prospect for us

Tatar Real Talk
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BlastnyFromThePastny</b></div><div>I mean it's always fun to play with the idea of reuniting Drouin and Mack. We have Newhook + all those centres listed in the trade so we're not hurting for one. Especially since I think the Avs are trying to time Newhook's development with Kadri's contract.
The only player for me that would make me put almost all the prospects on the table (minus Byram) would be Gallagher. If we lost Timmins in a Gallagher trade, I could be happy with that. If we lost Timmins in a Gallagher+Tatar trade it wouldn't even hurt me. I just don't know exactly what that would look like. And I know MTL fans would hate to lose him, but that's why I'd love to have him and re-sign him.</div></div>
We seem to have hit an impasse as the only way I'd not be disappointed losing Gally if someone from your top-line Makar or Byram was in the return don't get me wrong I'm not saying that Gallagher is as good as them or has that high of trade value just restating just how much some habs fans would hate to lose him.
But in terms of Timmins if adding one of our better LD prospects not named Romanov need to be sold it might hurt but id be willing to part with Struble or Fairbrother if it could bring us our potential next 1st pair RD

Domi is possibly the worst Center in the organization to put with Gallagher. Gally and Domi both are shoot-first players and if Danault isn't our first line center the next best option on that first line is Suzuki.

An equal prospect on forward could possibly work? I could see Romanov and Timmins tearing it up. Maybe Poehling would be the forward equivalent in value?</div></div>
I meant to add that the trade didn't need to involve Tatar I brought it up because, I read an Avs fan propose Timmins, Sampo Raanta, 2020 5th for either Domi or Drouin on Reddit would that be in the realm of possibility or would it have to involve someone like Poehling
