Bruins 23-24 v2

Don't think teams are worried about "helping" other teams out. They look to make moves that benefit their hockey club. A third for both Gryz and Forbort is reasonable given they are both servicable bottom 4 NHL defensemen. You pick the team they go to, but think thats a reasonable price.

Bruins 23-24 v2

Even if they don't rebuild, they have an abundance of LSD.</div></div>
Used Winnipeg as an example - pick anyone who needs a formidable 3rd pair D who can play PK well (with one year remaining on his deal).

Creativity here is phenomenal. Not sure any of it is realistic - from the Bruins side and/or their trade partners… but the creativity is admirable.

No way re-sign krecji or tuukka for that much term. Also, kuraly is good as gone.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Bcarlo25</b></div><div>So if you signed Carlo for 3 years, he's still an RFA. You would have his rights etc. If you sign him for 4 years, he's a UFA at the end of the deal. He'll get paid more, he can sign with anyone without compensation etc. If he signed for 5 years, you're "buying," one year of free agency. 6 years, and you're "buying," two years of free agency, and so on, and so forth. That's what a team like Edmonton would sign McDavid to such a big deal, because they were buying out four years of free agency.</div></div>
thank you

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Bcarlo25</b></div><div>carlo deal takes him right to UFA without buying out any UFA years. Never happened before, not about to happen now. I can't imagine Clifton out of the lineup. No chance in hell that Vegas takes that. You're legit multiple first round picks short. McAvoy deal only buys out one year of UFA. not good. Heinen for sure says no, and JFK is going to sweden. Not extending at the moment.
Vancouver trade isn't horrible though.</div></div>
please enlighten me what "buying out any UFA years" means. I will take into account under my next version.

Exactly what we need
No way Carlo signs for that little.
Perry played 31 games last year and had 10 points at the age of 34. Not what the bruins need right now.

Krug for RNH
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Bcarlo25</b></div><div>When Green was with the caps Carlson spent a decent amount of time on the left side. He slots in there fine.
So, let's not be vague. Who is this high end left side d? It sounds pretty easy when you can just say "a top center," or a "top d." It's a little harder when you have to come up with a name</div></div>
OEL, Hanifin, Jake Muzzin, Ekholm, Brodin, Klefbom... want me to continue?

Krug for RNH
Carlson is not the answer on D. I agree with trading Krug, but package him with a prospect for a high end two way LD to pair with McAvoy. Krecji should be playing with Pasta and Bjork can fit in with Bergeron. If it doesn’t work to start the year then move pasta up with bergy. RNH is nice, but not the right move for a bruins team that has plenty of other young talent coming up.

Uhh, yeah Fitzgerald gives more offensive upside than acciari who would give the same thing on the defensive end. And czarnik is gonna walk in free agency if we don’t pay him, I’d like to see him on our fourth line for some speed and skill. OEL is in his last year of his contract and is either going to get moved or sign a big deal in AZ. He’s a stud LD which is what we need to pair with McAvoy and they will be a sick pairing for the future too.
