This is…. Interesting. I’m not even going to touch on values here.
Johansson isn’t a true center, so depth wise sure I guess we can grab him if price is cheap for depth winger. I mean him and Coyle had some good chemistry so maybe it could be an option but until Freddy stops being effective on that line I wouldn’t break it up
Voracek is not really what bruins need, put him at 1RW then I suppose at 4.Xm it’s not horrible to have a great passer but, would rather a goal scorer at that rate. As that’s what bruins need more of. And don’t really even want to pay him next 2 years. I mean think Kessel here, cheaper in every way, still got good shoot, better then his totals suggest and still good passing abilities. And a lot more flexible cap wise for future
Staal, I mean is what it is, cheap and don’t hate it so not much to say about that one. Do believe I read some stuff about him this past offseason but don’t remember what it was so maybe other issues here that I’m not recalling
I don’t understand this D at all. Trade for a LD and a RD and play them on their opposite sides? But anyways
Don’t like savard, as he would be 3rd in real life and we could find veteran experience cheaper elsewhere (cheaper cap and cheaper acquisition wise) as RD isn’t really a concern for BOS but ya a cheap 3-4RD for playoff depth would be acceptable. (Braun, Schenn realm)
Gio, don’t hate the idea of him, depending on price of acquisition. Obviously he would be actually played on the left, so see a good fit there with either of Mac or Carlo. I know GIO can play either side but Consistent LD player is more important IMO
Chara is basically of no use, would much rather have Cliffy for speed and physicality. Not completely against getting chara as another veteran 7-8 Dman but throw them a 6th rounder and take him if you really want him
