I assume that they could take a buyer for Tampa to trade Johnson with a pick in order to make this deal go through.

I don't know why penguins fans can't get over the fact that Oleksiak is not coming back to PIT. That boat has sailed so far it's in the orient by now.
There is also no way they trade MP for that. The guy is a 4th-3rd line tweener at this point.</div></div>
Isn't Jankowski an RFA?

Zucker posses the puck too much to play with Sid or Geno, I believe he should be on his own line kinda like HBK. Zucker isn't being demoted, he is being given more responsibility in order to carry his own line.

He was this year, these are all the players that were on waivers this season that I wish the pens had claimed.

Nolan Patrick trade
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>pharrow</b></div><div>that 2nd is just overkill and doesn't even make it look reasonable. So it's instantly hated.
1 for 1...eh I don't really like it for the penguins.
POJ isn't a 2LD like people want to say. He hasn't proven that, he was benched before being sent back down. But the thing is, he wasn't really ready to be up here to begin with. He lacks the size and strength. And they knew that. Once he got exposed that was it for him. People parked down low on him and there wasn't much he could do about it.
But that doesn't mean he won't develop. He's only 21. The potential is there. Just not this year. My guess is next year by mid season we might see him again. Of course it could be Cam Lee.</div></div>
My belief is that PIT would have to overpay PHI in order to acquire Patrick, which is why I added an extra asset in this deal. I changed it from a 2cnd to a 3rd to make it more fair, and maybe I would do a 4th, but I still think that the second assert is required to make the trade go through.

I’ve noticed that Nolan Patrick is being shopped around right now, and I wanted to know what the perceived value he has is. He was a very high draft pick, but he has also been very disappointing in the NHL.

This ACGM was made under the assumption that Geno won't be back until playoffs (which unless im wrong, the cap limit is no longer affective)

either Mccann gets moved to LW and blueger and Gaudreau are the bottom 6 centers scratching one of Watson, or Virtanen or Mccann is 3C and Blueger is 4c and Gaudreau is scratched.

what is bad about this deal, McCann is a proven goal scorer with top line potential, and kotkaniemi is a middle to bottom 6 player whose ceiling is a good second liner (i.e. David Backes in St. Louis)

It’s not clickbait media, it is a source that I really trust.
Malkin doesn’t play gritty or a system at all, I don’t believe that management will keep him in the offseason.

That is a valid suggestion, but I believe that Lafreniere’s slow start to his career is do to usage by the coaching. When he was playing on the 1st line, he put up around 6 points in 8 games (that may not be accurate, its just the numbers I think he got in that span). I would personally play him in the AHL to give him a step up in play level to more prepare him for the professional level in his development.

I’d still take larfreniere over the ability to aqcuire Kapanen even though Kapanen has developed some great chemistry with Malkin. Idk who they would of went for, but I think the pens would still find a RW trade at the draft or free agency

in my opinion, it fixes their depth scoring problem, and they can get a good RHD at the deadline without giving up too much. (I.E. Honka, Montour, or Miller)

That is definitely good value, but due to the Pens current low pick and prospect pool, I personally wouldn't give up a 2cnd for anyone this deadline unless they were to take a step back in the offseason and trade away some of the non-core players or go all in and trade players like POJ, Poulin, and Legare.
