Armchair-GM For the Wings
Philly says yes cause why not. maybe youd have to pay a lower pick for us to take him, but dont hate him and Seeler as a 3rd pairing

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>FlyOrDie20</b></div><div>Flyers decline. It’s a good trade, with fair value, but it’s just one of those things where it wouldn’t be in the best interest of the Flyers to trade York away. We haven’t had a solid 1rst line d-man since Chris Pronger.</div></div>
That's fair. I just think that the Flames will be looking for a Hanifin replacement in the off-season. That could come either in free-agency by potentially overpaying for a partner for Andersson, or by leveraging some of the assets we got along with Sharangovich/Kuzmenko for a younger D-men.
PS: York is going to be great for you guys, I've been a fan for the last couple of years. I can't wait for PHI to start making some noise in the playoffs again.

You really think anyone is taking Nuke at this point? And would trade something of value for him? Seems extremely unlikely.

The avs are getting uno reverse on them lol.
They were dominate I'm jets series and now the whole team has gone ghost. They did this through out the season to.
If RW is your guys need then I was misinformed.

2024
PHI says no, maybe Koneckny (at 5.5mil for 2 yrs) and a early 2nd AND 6mil in cap space though might be enough....
But PHI doesn;t want a smallish RW who almost all Leaf fans want to get rid of for equal value. (and chances of Marner resigning for a pretty minimal raise in a new city are pretty minimal)
PHI needs C's and a top 4 dman, who aren;t old, and therefore probably not good trade partners.
And I doubt Liljegren takes a 275k raise, or those UFAs signing cheap to a team that annually disappoints, or 2 goalies that have never played 35 games in a season will work and you;'re over the cap anyways

Marner to PHI
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>FlyOrDie20</b></div><div>No thanks. Marner is a good player who may be worthy of this amount of talent in return, but the Flyers are in no position to give up this much talent for an individual player.</div></div>
That's fair. I think this is the kind of package they look for though. A couple players that are really good but not on the same level as Marner. I agree it doesn't much sense unless Philly were to pick up some big name free agents to make them competitive.

Definitely…both players would be going home. Two of Hayes best games of the season were against the Bruins. I think he would really be motivated playing in Boston

The point of this post is probably not to rebuild lmao. I want to rebuild but if the team ends up too good to. Truly rebuild Briere is going to have to make a choice to further tear it down or to start to prepare for the future already.
As for Lindholm if he is leaving and isn’t coming back that’s more than enough for him.

Neither team would want that Flyers trade. It’s not great value for Lindholm and at the same time why on earth would we want Joseph and retain on Sanheim for 8 years?

Frost
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Haymaker26</b></div><div>I won't call the trade fair, but I think you're evaluations of both players are exaggerated.
Via hockey-reference, Frost's corsi and fenwick %s were break even at 5v5, and his points/60 was at 2.0. Good stats for a middle 6 scorer, but not mindblowing. By the same sources, he had slightly higher scoring and slightly lower playdriving then Kevin Hayes at 5v5, and was worse at both in all situations.
You don't have 7 better options than Joseph when your 2nd pairing by TOI is Sean Walker and Marc Staal.</div></div>
Both of them are better than POJ. Staal helped Florida to a cup final, POJ and the Pens didn’t even make the playoffs and choked to fall out which was the whole reason Florida was in to begin with lol.

Frost
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>TySmith4Norris</b></div><div>Frost is a 3C at best ? No idea where 2C is coming from</div></div>
Frost has been playing 2C for 2 years, on a contender he is a 3C even then so a 3C is more important than a 4 that’s a LHD. There are loads of LHD in the NHL. York, Sanheim, Zamula, Andrae, Staal, Seeler, Walker are all better than POJ. This is gonna be my last comment on this cause going around in circles with you is useless.
1. The Flyers and Penguins would never trade
2. The Flyers aren’t helping the Penguins get better
3. The Flyers aren’t trading a 2C/3C for a fringe NHL player
4. We can’t hold anymore defenseman on the team we already have 8 in our lineup
5. We can’t hold anymore LHD because 6 of our 8 defenseman primary the left side lmao
6. Centers are move valuable than defenseman
If you can’t understand all of that then it doesn’t matter anyway lol. Not a single person in this post agrees with you by the way and everyone is saying the same things I’m telling you
