Leafs fan trolling the Habs?
This is a joke.
If the 1st pick was on the other side, Habs would still refuse.
We're talking locker room cancer primadona PLD here... You think he'd have less pressure in Montreal.
Come on man... focus on your Leafs tonight.

Habs pass. Quickly. Habs are not taking Huberdeau - no matter how sweetened the deal is.

Habs don't want Sheary on waivers at the moment.
They are in rebuild and have too many mid wingers.
And Barron is worth more than this.
Habs refuse easily.

Grizz .314
Matheson. .304
So if Grizz is useless on offense….
Grizz is better defensively, cheaper and thankfully expires this year.
Truth be told…i don't want either of them. All things equal, I take MM. But under the circumstances i’d rather Grizz of the two.
Trading Poitras and a pick for MM would be like you guys trading Juraj and a pick for Grizz. It’s ridiculous.</div></div>
At least you didn't throw any insults, lump every 'opposite fans' in a big group, and youd din't call any player trash.
So I respect that. You stuck with hockey and debated 'cleanly'.
I got upset at fans who go for insults and destroy players for no reason just because they're on teams they diislike - the clear-as-day hating is becoming obnoxious, and this site is also becoming a bit too acid sometimes.
Cheers to you my friend. Hope you're doing well

Habs refuse Grzelcyk AND Forbort for Matheson.
Grzelcyk doesn't even come close to Matheson. Small guy, useless on offense, push over on defense... only Bruins homer fans with thick eye glasses and stubborn meat heads can't properly evaluate their talent.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Bcarlo25</b></div><div>depends what you want. personally i think he's a guy that's always going to grab some points, but he isn't going to help you win hockey games. He's the kind of dman that the dopey fans in boston get all sorts of excited about, and then the bruins jettison the player if given an opportunity. In Boston, he's a nothing. maybe worse than that. I don't think he gets ice time over lindholm, Grzelcyk, or even Forbort. Boston management has shown time and time again that they do not value what be brings as a hockey player. I don't value it either, hence why i think he's trash.</div></div>
Ok man, no problem.
Matheson is trash to you.
Cheers

1- i do agree that Bruins decline.
2- Poitras is a great young player.
but man... Matheson is FAR from a trash player and would make the Bruins lineup.
Be fair man. Remove your bias for a miunte.

BUF trade
This is far from being a "laughable" offer.
Buffalo will most likely decline. I think.
But they won't "hang up" or laugh it off... Barron is maturing well and is a former 1st round pick, very offesnsive minded.
And add on top of that another 1st round pick.
Not laughable. Still think BUF declines. But politely lol

2nd tier trades
About Jake Evans... although the value seems "fair-ish", it's soooo weird in Montreal right now, with Dach AND Dvorak out for the season, and now Monahan gone... we only have 2 NHL centers left!
So within the team, Evans' value is sky high at the moment.
If that trade indeed happened, Martin Saint-Louis would knock on Kent Hughes and just say "Are you messing with me??!?!?!"
But he would fit in well in Toronto, and is a true perfect penalty-killer-energy bottom 6 guy.
Good target; fair offer.

Just want to try to give some explanation for OldNYI where he probably could’ve been more measured in his response, which is that there are an insane number of Harris for Z proposals. And a very quick bit of research into ANA (or review of feedback on any of those proposals) will highlight a very real logjam at LD with Fowler, Mintyukov, Zellweger, Lacombe, Vaakanainen, Hinds, Dionicio.
He should’ve had a more patient reply for sure, but we aren’t perfect. All the best to you</div></div>
