You’ve added some solid value here, props. That said, ANA’s needs are top 6 wing and #1RD. None of these pieces except Z clearly fall in that category. If you want to base a trade around Slaf, Rein, or the ‘24 MTL first, ANA will talk. Otherwise it’s not fitting our needs, even if the value is there

And we love Z btw, not trying to move him unless it’s good value and totally makes sense for the team (I.e addresses those needs)

Your reaction is fair. Just want to try to give some explanation for OldNYI where he probably could’ve been more measured in his response, which is that there are an insane number of Harris for Z proposals. And a very quick bit of research into ANA (or review of feedback on any of those proposals) will highlight a very real logjam at LD with Fowler, Mintyukov, Zellweger, Lacombe, Vaakanainen, Hinds, Dionicio.

He should’ve had a more patient reply for sure, but we aren’t perfect. All the best to you

Wow the aggression on here guys. I’m a Habs fan too but the Ducks fans make good points. It’d be like when other fan bases try to trade left handed dmen to us on here. It just doesn’t make sense. So replace Harris with a guy the Ducks actually need. Yeah it’s a site for proposals but it’s also for feedback or there wouldn’t be a reply section.
