If Faber is ready this year
Well if the Dumba trade comes with an contract extention at the right price, I think they could go with it. But only if. MTL needs a RD that could play top pair.
Otherwise, what about:
Dadonov + 2nd RD + 3rd RD <-> Dumba

22-23 - Trade Hoffman vs Zadorov
Well I'm looking for a team that would switch one of our forward (Hoffman, Dadonov, Drouin, Byron)
In this trade, I thought Zadorov is a bit overpaid considering he played bellow 16min per game in the last 10 games.
So I think Habs management needs to trade a bad forward contract for a bad defenseman contract.
On this case, both player have 2 years left on contact and Calgary has a depth in defense.

Habs lineup 21-22
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>McSchleep</b></div><div>just keep him on the wing and let evans or poehling take his spot</div></div>
Maybe but who do you take out of the lineup? Perreault?
Poehling will have to take a spot from one of those guys, if neither him nor Evans plays good enough to take a spot on third line then we need a wing to play center.
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>ricochetii</b></div><div>Maybe with Toffoli and Gallagher as his wingers.
Drouin might be able to get away with more because Gally draws attention and defense has to respect Toffoli's shot.</div></div>

What i would do before they move to Quebec
I don't think anyone will buy or sell an hockey concession in the current market.
Until Covid is over there won't be any team in Quebec for sure

Habs 20-21 - Lineup idea
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>GMs</b></div><div>Belzile is an AHLer, Söderberg won’t get that money and Evans is fine at 4C
Poehling will fight for a roster spot too and Vejdemo
Bergevin already said a couple weeks ago Byron is not on the market</div></div>
When there was plenty of space on the salary Cap.
Now: One of Lehkonen, Byron, Armia or Kulak has to go
I still feel that moving one of our bottom 6 forwards for a capable Center would be a good idea.
Evans might be fine, considering that we trust into Suzuki and Danault
But have a faceoff specialist on 4th line could be a nice bonus
What do you think of the line and PP?

Habs 20-21 - Lineup idea
Yeah I know, the picks are unimportant.
It's just that a LA had a lot of room for players, but could also be Devils.
As for Soderberg, I think he could get near 3M on a 1Y deal
But Okay let's revert to actual lineup...
We would still need to move to get more CAP space

Why not Gusev from Vegas
I don't think the Habs can trade for Clarkson. He has a M-NTCNMC (choose from14 teams) and I don't think Montreal is in the list given the income tax.
But Vegas are in big trouble and are trying to trade Clarkson where they can.
What the habs could do is to get one of their already signed player and giving good prospect and draft pick.
What about:
Alex Tuch (Worth 2 1st and a 2nd and some assets)
Ryan Reave (Cap dump, not worth is contract)
vs
Juulsen (late 1rd pick)
1st Round pick
2nd Round pick
Matthew Peca (retain 500k)
Jordan Weal (retain 200k)

Trade w VAN BUF OTT
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>mikeyscav</b></div><div>Yeah, I’m trying to not devalue Patches as much as other Sabres fans do here. I get the age thing, but just because he’s 30 doesn’t mean he doesn’t hold value. I could see us swinging this then like mentioned by Biscuits us having a deal to flip Patches to a team for younger assets
Edit: I also forgot about probably a steeper price due to trade within the division. Not sure if that would come in form of another pick or Byron/Scherbak</div></div>
If Pacio was signed at 4,5 for another 3-4 years, It would be no deal. That said, I think we could make a flip for a bunch of prospect and picks at the playoff race. He will be worth a lot for sure, adding a guy like him to your roster with like no salary cap hit will be very nice.

Max is still an elite player. But He lost that grit he had before the incident with Chara. Since then he is still a good score, but he does not play with the same pace.
And yes, He has been awesome for MTL, a great bargain, a piece to make you win the cup but we could not build properly around it. Now he will ask too much for what he's worth...

habs trade offer 3rd for 2nd
Thanks man, I know I'd like the idea of the Canes wanting the two Czech, Zadina and Necas. But I feel like SVECHNIKOV made a huge impression at the combine. So Perhaps adding Lekhonen or another 2nd rd. But this is as far as I would go. But I big and skilled RW would be very nice for the Habs.
