The thing is you almost need 2 top D-men if you want to be a championship caliber team. Even if Bouchard becomes one, adding another one is what the Oilers need to do. If they could get let's say Norris + Chabot + Pinto/Greig + JBD/Kleven for McDavid, then they should do it (assuming McDavid asks for a trade of course)

No idea if they would give up Stutzle but if they did, it would be for a marketing coup with McDavid but at the same time, these moves are too crazy to even discuss it.

Norris obviously missed last whole season so he took a backseat while Brady became an unicorn PPG powerforward

But before that, Norris was a great 2-way center with 0.50 GPG (40 goals per 82 games). He was immensely missed last season
