Oh look another one, what's that like 3 Marner to LA trades done today and its only been like an hour since the last one?
If you had seen any of the Marner to LA trades done pretty much ever then you'd understand LA wants nothing to do with Marner primarily because LA can't afford to extend Marner meaning if a Marner to LA trade were to happen it would purely be as a rental. Obviously as a rental you wouldn't get anything near this so it doesn't work on either end of things so please stop doing these (Not just you all Leafs fans).

Huh? 18.7m in cap space the following season with Saros Laf Walstrom Eller Turcotte Englund Miller and Rittich all becoming UFAs. So basically 8m of that goes to Saros leaving 10m in cap to sign/replace those other guys all of which are easy to replace or cheap to resign.

this enough for turcotte they are missing these picks
Only way LA is shipping out Turcotte is for at least a 2nd. Otherwise LA will just qualify him and give him one last shot.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>GuyGuyGuy</b></div><div>1. More likely to bounce back? The Kings litterally did everything they can to save him
2. Considering he was playing with Kyle Connor and Nikolaj Ehlers, it shows more about him producing only if he has superstar teammates
3. If you look at any PLD trade, there is 2 choices :
Habs fan trying to use their cap space and getting good players in compensation (and it’s probably the same ones that keep making Zegras trades)
Kings fan dumping PLD to Montreal with an outrageously low compensation</div></div>
1. They definitely gave him opportunities to succeed which didn't work out that's for sure, day 1 they paired him with Fiala which didn't work then tried Kempe which didn't work. He seemed to work well with Arvi when he came back but that was only a small handful of games. He basically played the whole season with a rookie on his wing which would be hard for anyone.
2. No doubt he needs someone that can produce cause the guy barely plays defense which is what the Kings are known for which is why his lack thereof production is so heavily highlighted.
3. Acknowledging he's a good player like you did says it all. And you won't find a Kings fan dumping PLD to MTL lol Kings FANS are fully aware MTL isn't willing to give up what we would want in return for PLD which is why Kings FANS don't trade him to MTL.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>GuyGuyGuy</b></div><div>1. Dvorak and Anderson also had awful years. Anderson passed from a 20 goal score to a 20 pts scorer.
2. What tells you he will be better? Seems like every strategy has been tried in LA. He won’t get a lot better, and even if he get back to like 50 pts, he would be MASSIVELY overpaid.
3. Nobody is talking about the realistic factor of the trade. If it was realistic, Hughes would have told Blake to f*ck off already
4. Nobody ever said that. It’s only LA fans trying to dump him</div></div>
1. No doubt about it all three guys had bad years but PLD is far more likely of the three to bounce back.
2. Considering that 2 seasons ago he scored 60 pts and the season after 63pts he was getting better every season in his production. He took a step back in his production because of his new environment/team/system.
3. No actual Kings fans have posted a trade getting rid of PLD, take this guy for example. This guy doesn't have a "favorite team" selected in his bio but all his trade are MTL trades with other teams so who do you think he roots for?

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>GuyGuyGuy</b></div><div>1. Dvorak and Anderson both got a down year
2. Pld has 7 year of bad contract, Dvorak and Anderson have 4 combined
3. Both players combine are 21m. PLD is 60m. The cost to take on 40m is way more than a late first, a mid project and a young prospect</div></div>
1. PLD had a down year and still outscored both of those guys combined, granted Dvorak didn't play a full season so that doesn't have much weight but Anderson did and PLD doubled him in points mainly playing on the 3rd or 4th line.
2. PLD is on a brand new team playing a totally different style of hockey so him having a bad year isn't crazy to see happen. Is he going to play like this for the next 7 years? Of course not, he is not going to be this bad for 7 yrs.
3. If this trade was formed strictly for longevity of the money the Kings would save just as much money buying PLD out (buyout costing 27m) then trading him and saving assets so that doesn't make sense.
4. MTL fans see there is still potential for PLD to become that 1C/2C that he is suppose to be but they think because of one bad season they are going to get him for the bad contracts they have like this is some kind of charity.

If you were trying to make a line that plays zero defense you achieved it with that second line. I think the only way you make it better is by adding Ovi to it otherwise that's top tier right there lol

Anderson has 20 points in 78 games while Dvorak had 9 points in 30 games.
PLD had a bad year and scored 40 points (more than both guys combined and both guys combined are more expensive than PLD) but you want LA to add a 1st which Anderson and Dvorak alone wouldn't get in return followed by Kaliyev and Laf? With the kind of logic you're using here lets swap Laf for Slaf (even though Slaf out produced Laf and has a far higher ceiling they both get paid the same so its fair) and call it a day.

Blake put his job on the line the moment he made that trade, riding it out gives him more time. Buying out PLD or trading him for less than what he was acquired for guarantees Blake being fired.

Kings say use the rest of your cap space ($345,000) on the retention for Allen and you've got a deal.
Also the Kings are hunting for a tender as well and if all Saros costs is the 10th OA pick and a 4th then the Kings offer the 21st OA pick and Turcotte and a 3rd to NSH to beat that offer.

Knight is too much of a gamble for the Kings to take a shot with. Only way Kings take a chance with Knight is if he is 50% retained and it wont be at this kind of asking price it would be something like just a 3rd for Knight 50% retained which I'm sure FLA wouldn't even consider.

That’s an easy pass by the Kings. Can find just ans good options in free agency that will cost a whole lot less and save our picks.
You want to get rid of Freddy you’ll either have to retain or sell him for nothing greater than just a 4th round pick.
