Detroit Offers Draft Picks Players and Obtain Bad Contract for Tkachuk
Would need better younger players. Take out Erne (he’s useless) and add Berggren and it’s closer

Tkachuk trade to detroit
I think that’s about the asking price for Tkachuk but I don’t think giving up all of that would be worth it. Take out either Hronek or Berggren and I think DET would consider

I would say by the time the season starts he’d be allowed to play. Pretty clear he’s not getting Vax’d but I would assume the NHL and Canada would have a much more relaxed policy on it. Maybe he’ll have to get tested before playing in Canada games. Just a thought

Not even close to what Calgary will want. Even with the cap dump of Monahan. Erne and Smith are useless in a trade for Tkachuk. Will need picks and top prospects

If that’s the price for Tkachuk, then it’s a no from DET. Seems like an overpay

Remember its Steve
Definitely close. It might need one of DET’s top prospects like Berggren included to make it happen. So Hronek, Berggren, Veleno, 2024 1st, 2023 2nd sounds realistic

It’s almost there. Just don’t think that gets it done. Needs more of a top prospect or 1st round pick included

Fills the need for Calgary D-Man plus home town boy
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>TCup_Bag_In</b></div><div>Calgary is going to get minimum for Tkchuk because he’s either going to get traded at low value, or walk as a UFA next season.
Markstrom won’t want to be in another rebuild, Nylander is probably going to be better than any other offer the Flames get. Murray will be better with a great D corps in front of him, so Calgary can get back on their feet with solid players faster this way, if they don’t get a great winger to play with Lindholm, he will be the next to walk. He and Nylander are the perfect pair for each other. This all makes sense and I’m not even a fan of either team.</div></div>
You think Calgary will get the minimum for Tkachuk? A true top line player rarely becomes available in the NHL. They will for sure get a 1st, too prospect, plus more. Markstrom was a Vezina finalist last year. This trade makes no sense. Toronto gets way better and Calgary gets worse without providing enough future assets.

chuk for raymond
DET says no. Tkachuk is a great player but it needs to be for an elite player (Mcdavid, Makar, Matthews like player) to get rid of Raymond.
**Obviously it wouldn’t be Raymond for one of those elite players 1 for 1

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>TCup_Bag_In</b></div><div>Flames get the top 4 D-Man they want, a home town kid with Nylander, plus 2 picks in what looks like a deep draft. This sets them up for the “rebuild” that would end quickly, plus they have 2x 1A/B starters in goal with Vladar being solid.
Leafs offer $9.0 to Tkachuk who gets to play with buddy Matthews, Leaf’s shore up their goaltending and leaves them room to offer Sandin $2.2 x4
Makes sense for both sides. Plus the money works.</div></div>
Calgary getting a worse goalie and worse player, plus Muzzin (nothing special). Then back of the 1st round pick and another 3rd. This only benefits Toronto. Calgary would need much much more

I wouldn’t see NJ giving up Nemec after taking him 2nd overall over Wright. They most likely see him as a future #1 D which is more important to a growing team.

Way too much for Tkachuk. Barzal is arguably better than Tkachuk. Matthew’s had one great season with amazing players. Barzal has never been surrounded with great players. A much lesser piece than Barzal and the rest of the trade would be correct

Flyers get Cap Space - DET retains 50 on Bertuzzi

100% would go to try and get Gaudreau. The Wings are a perfect team to take on bad contracts for assets, and I think Bertuzzi is the type of player Philly wants

Flyers get Cap Space - DET retains 50 on Bertuzzi
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>LS0211</b></div><div>Deal doesn't work for PHI. They could achieve the same cap savings with buyouts. Trading Provy and JVR, plus a #1 and top prospect for a goal scorer who will be a UFA in a year is a bad move.</div></div>
Obviously the Flyers would try to get an extention for Bertuzzi. Having over 13.5 mil in cap space in two players, both in which aren’t worth that cap hit is not an easy buyout. The flyers want to win now and buyouts do not help winning now.

Flyers get Cap Space - DET retains 50 on Bertuzzi
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>mikearky</b></div><div>Where is all this Bertuzzi to Philly coming from, and why would Yzerman take on a cap dump, when he as GM of Wings has only taken cap when it was to fill a hole?</div></div>
Just being known that Philly want to win now, Provorov hasn’t worked out that well there. They need cap space, and Wings are far from contending. So taking on Cap for 1 year with JVR we’d get a premium asset(s), plus a 25 year old decent LD who might need a change teams to really thrive. Bertuzzi hasn’t had the best of negotiations with the Wings going to Arb. twice. So just throwing him in there since he’d make the Flyers better.

Provorov for Bertuzzi
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Xertalz</b></div><div>I've watched pretty much every single Flyers game over the past two years.
Provorov's struggled but has still shown he's a top pair defender when his D partner is competent. Bertuzzi is a low-end top line forward.
Players like Provorov are much much harder to find than players like Bertuzzi.</div></div>
I disagree with Provorov being a top line D. He’d be a top line LD on the wings for sure haha. I think on a good team he’s a 2nd line D as well as Bert is a 2nd line winger on a good team. Just think Bert brings way more to a team being a 30 goal scorer only playing 68 games on a terrible team and a grit and grind player. Curious on what your trade proposal would be?
