The thing is not one piece jumps out and says, potential Top Tier Talent. they are all at best mid to bottom 6 prospects/players.
Eichel, is literally a 1C and should at minimum fetch someone with the potential to match that role.

Just imagine LA's response if Buffalo offered Johnson, Thompson, Okposo, and Asplund along with a 1st rounder between 10 and 20 overall for Kopitar at age 27 or 28 lets say. I doubt many if any would even entertain the offer without Cozens being involved.</div></div>

Your GM is tanking his value especially with the surgery nonsense going on. The longer Buffalo waits the worse the trade is going to get. I honestly hope buffalo gets fleeced when the actual eichel trade happens, you guys are insufferable with how you think he’s worth half a roster of quality players.

Like the trades, Scherbak has already signed with a KHL team. Iaffalo gets 2 - 2.5 M, Kempe is in range. No way Petersen takes 895 for 3 years with how he played this year, ideally a bridge of 1.5 for 2 years to see how he pans out. Would like Panarin + Hayes, would stay from Strålman or Nyquist, wait till next years UFA/draft class.

It’s the 2 million retained for 8 years, that’s the issue. 2 million of dead cap for 8 years is a big ask.

I am a Kings fan and would like a total rebuild, Doughty trade included. But it would take a whole lot more if you want the Kings to have 2 million of dead cap space for 8 years.

Kings fan here, no real issue with Voynov coming back except he apparently had two ACL injury’s while in Russia. So one would expect he would be considerably worse. I’m hoping the NHLPA arbiter wipes out this bogus year suspension, hes been banned essentially for the past 5 years. Would be nice if the Kings could somehow get better then a 3 Round pick.

Quick, Kovalchuk >>> Koskinen, Sekera. JP is nowhere near enough to take those two. Bad trade all around for LA. Ang is another Amadio, Campbell could fetch possibly a first round pick if the Kings added, not a fourth and C list prospect. Vatanen hasnt played a full season in the NHL ever, no thanks. If the point of your retool is to make the Kings considerably worse for the next 5 + years you succeeded.
