You don’t believe what? And Boston most likely won’t sign Hall, he’s most likely going to Nas.

They would prefer to have 4% of cap space which is around $3.2 million. The forth line can be a combo of NHLers and Providence players, I just took a guess.

In Sweeney’s latest Zoom call he said that they will continue to explore different avenues to improve the club, but they have not reached out to Pietrangelo and will most likely look from within to fill the LD which means Zboril or Vaakanainen if they don’t resign Chara and they even said that their RD is not a priority. With signing Smith they got a RW right shot with some size. They most likely don’t want to pay for Hall as they want to be under the top end of the cap. He said that Grzelcyk will most likely take on a bigger role. You’re right the Atlantic Division will eat them alive as well as the rest of the league.

Anything could happen, but unless he really improves, I don’t see them signing him to big money long term, maybe a bridge deal in the $2.8 million range but There are other options that are bigger stronger and more skilled around the league. Time will tell though.

There’s nothing exciting in the Palmieri deal. Lots of stuff, sure. When the devils move him they’re going to want to be excited about at least one piece.</div></div>
Then they may have to trade him, I can’t imagine them paying too much for Grzelcyk long term, he’s undersized, and not a power play quarterback like Krug. New Jersey won’t be able to be too picky ; Trade him for something; young prospects and a 2nd or lose him to FA. I can’t see another team giving up a 1st for an expiring contract, he’s a very good player, but he’s not a franchise player worth a 1st +prospects

Boston Bruins 2020-21 Updated
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Bcarlo25</b></div><div>4 years isn’t an option for Debrusk. Takes him directly to UFA without buying out any UFA years, and that doesn’t happen in the NHL. Don’t think Jersey takes that, but I would love it if they did. Gotta find more money for Grzelcyk, and gotta find room in the lineup for Studnicka. Lindholm can’t play the third line.</div></div>
Thank you for pointing that out, it should have been 3 years to bridge him over. I can’t imagine that New Jersey wouldn’t, Palmieri has 1 year left on his current deal and I don’t see the Bruins giving up a 1st for him in addition to prospects. New Jersey would be getting Bjork as a young winger, Steen as young winger, Zboril who hasn’t been able to find his groove in Providence, and a 2nd rounder, that’s a good amount for an expiring deal. If they could resign him they would have Tuukka’s and Krejci’s deals expired and could have their second RW for the future. As well as money to sign a starting goalie if Rask retires or could trade for a starting goalie and have the cap room. The Bruins have plenty of bottom six forwards in Providence and they could easily switch out whomever they feel can play it. Grzlecyk is right in the range that Carlo signed for so I believe that’s fair.

They have to get a RW. That right side is too weak. They would also have to get another Dman as well as move on from Chris Kelly. Trotman will become an UFA.

We have to get at least 1 draft pick in return for Seidenberg to replenish what was given up in previous trades. I prefer 2 because he can still play and he would bring leadership to a team in rebuilding. He has won a cup and now he can pass on some experience to someone such as Goligoski. Plus his cap hit will help prevent them from being close to cap floor.

Yes, I was thinking that the Bruins would have to give up a 1st round pick and a prospect for Lindholm. I packaged Connolly because he is a former 1st round pick who hasn't really be able to find a line mate to click with and given that Anaheim has both Getzlaf and Kesler as 1 and 2 centers he might be able to gel with either one of them, seeing as he couldn't gel with Bergeron.
