Boston Bruins 2020 NHL Trade Deadline

Created by: Hockey_G2011
Team: 2019-20 Boston Bruins
Initial Creation Date: Feb. 20, 2020
Published: Feb. 20, 2020
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
I believe the Palmieri deal is very possible as rumors are Heinen, Backes, and a 1st round pick. I added the 3rd rounder to sweeten the pot because the 1st rounder also compensates for taking on Backes.

The Anderson deal is just because they would have about $3 million in cap space and just another upgrade for a big, skilled forward. I could also do without the Anderson trade and just move Kuhlman to the 3rd line with Coyle and Bjork.

So, Palmieri for Heinen and a 3rd?

That would be, um, newsworthy

Tom Fitz (NJ) and Sweeney (Bruins) have a good-long history. Could be a good deal now scenario akin to "you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours; later" LOL

I don't know about that ha ha!
But you know it's a tight fraternity.
31 (soon to be 32) pretty highly sought after jobs as I'm sure you'll agree (hey here we are fantasizing over their jobs on CF really)!!
They watch each others backs too be sure...

Yeah, I understand that. But Fitz is an interim GM....and this trade deadline will determine his future. Its his one shot.

His Palm(ieri) is sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy
There's vomit on his sweater already, mom's spaghetti

You're right the leash is "chihuahua" lite (OK I heard that on TV today). I think he stays.
So much turnover in NJ they miss steady Lou's mitts on the rudder!!

EDIT: I have no base for this BUT - Isn't one of his strengths drafting??

I believe Fitz strength is more as a player development guy...so not the guy who will identify the draft picks, but the guy who will get them to NHL once they're drafted.
