<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>ItsBlowTime</b></div><div>Wouldn't say you're a homer, but just as Canucks fans overvalue Boeser I think you've done the same for Zboril.

His final year was easily his best year in junior, but three straight 19 point seasons in the AHL doesn't show a promising trajectory for growth.

I don't know a lot about Kuhlman so I can't say much, but I think he's in the same boat as Zboril in the eyes of the Canucks. They're a team on the cusp of playoffs (in a normal year) and in moving a potential thirty-goal scorer they'd be looking for something that can help push the team forward immediately instead of a few years down the road. I don't see a lot of RHD depth in the Bruins system so prying Carlo would be very difficult (McAvoy is a no-go from Boston) but that would be the type of player the Canucks would ask for in my opinion. A lateral player-type move that addresses an immediate need in the system. Zboril, Kuhulman, and a 2021 pick that will probably be mid-late 20's doesn't do that.</div></div>

Well said and well reasoned. I would just point out the importance of them "putting him on the block" perse. This isnt just a 'hey lets make a big trade', this is a 'we need cap space so we r gonna move a guy'. Im not saying Boesers value is killed, but he may not fetch exactly what they watn.

Again: like i said "Carlo and Boeser are about equal if they were the same position: Currently Top 6 (Top 4 dman), have potential to be Elite but most likely do have a high top 6 (top 4) cap." so a 1 for 1 is perfectly accurate given no extra stuff. Which is why IF the bruins wanted to part with Carlo, it would be Carlo and a 3rd for Boeser and Stetcher or something
