Personally, Zayne Parekh will be the more offensively dynamic player with the puck whilst Artyom Levshunov will be the more 'complete player' with his defensive game. (My knowledge of these players, could be wrong. I haven't seen them play, I only know what I read so please do correct me if I am wrong).
Zayne Parekh, D, Saginaw (OHL), 183 cm / 6'0"
Artyom Levshunov, D, Michigan State University (NCAA), 188 cm / 6'2"
The same goes for Michael Brandsegg-Nygard. There are so many right-handed wingers with size in this year's draft that could potentially play in the middle six for the Ducks. (Not in any Order)
- Ryder Ritchie, F, Prince Albert (WHL), 183 cm / 6'0"

Brandsegg Nygard would fit perfectly. I 100% agree he is a PV-type player. For some reason tho I really like Trevor Connelly. I feel like he could be the guy who completes our top 6.

Could very well be the best defensemen of the draft. He's been very unlucky with injuries, but when he has played he's looked elite. Should he be above Sanderson? No.
If he's able to stay healthy for long stretches and show his elite play consistently, I believe he'll be a better player than Sanderson. For me, I'd leave him at 6. No need to knock him down the rankings due to his injuries just yet. :)

Youngsters
We don't need to clog up our pipeline with older guys on the roster and ultimately take ice time away from our prospects. If anything it's more likely we trade Fowler at the season's end to free up ice time for the youngsters but saying that is unlikely.

Reasonable 2nd OA trade for both
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Caufield</b></div><div>I definitely see where you're coming from, and I completely understand why ANA declines. I was trying to target the plain value, without considering positioning value. Obviously, ANA got a lot of D, and they are lacking wingers. But in Vacuum value, Slaf or Caufield would be too much and I would assume Dach would be a slice too low. Hutson does seem like the right value player for this trade, but I see why ANA declines. Honestly, I think MTL declines as well, but I wanted to put a 2nd OA trade which isn't awful value for one team or the other.</div></div>
Honestly, you hit the nail on the head :)

ANA decline.
First, we don't need defence as we are stacked in that department. We would rather accept wingers.
Second ANA doesn't have to trade as Fan as he sets us up down centre shifting Z to the wing, where his game is more suited.
Fan is the best player to come out of the NCAA since Eichel and Kariya and we know good those guys are/went. Fan could be ANA future Franchise centre.
As of which the cost is going to be too high to the point mtl declines.
If you really want a price it would be
-2023 1st MTL
-Slaf or Cole
-and I'd like to see Dach added but I'd be happy without him.
Yes, you are probably going to say I'm smoking something. But, when people are desperate stupidity takes over.
Mtl would be better off not trading for the 2nd OA.

I really want Graves as well. You are probably right contract-wise. This will be Terry's largest contract as it goes through his prime. I reckon he'll push for a high 7 mil contract for 8 years.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>TJTwolf</b></div><div>I don't see the Avs (or anybody) moving a first for Henrique now. Maybe last year but not this year unless it's at the TDL. ANA are best holding onto Rico as it stands until then imo to maximise potential return. Someone may overpay at that point.</div></div>
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Will27</b></div><div>Avs decline, can likely get a better fitted player for the 2c role rather then spending a first on Henrique</div></div>
Both are fair takes. Honestly, that was the reaction I was expecting. If Avs had a 2023 2nd I would've substituted that pick instead of the 2024 1st. ANA probably just hold onto him until TDL.

Hey Ducks Fan
ANA easily declines. With the addition of Fantilli, he solidifies our centre position with Mctavish and Gaucher let alone mention Z. Even if ANA did trade the 2nd OA we wouldn't trade for centres. ANA needs wingers.

Pour one out for CBJ, I hear they are signing Babcock.
Alright, I'm having a hell of a time finding the actual press conference recording, can someone help LosPatos GeneralLandro</div></div>
It was a live stream. You probably have to wait until a full video gets released. :)
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>LosPatos</b></div><div>I’m not totally set on this option, but there was a lot of worse options. I think we’re seeing the new era of coaching rather than the whole coaching carousel thing.
Watched the press conference and wasn’t too pleased either. Kinda sounds like Verbeek expects us to be bad for at least 3 more years and doesn’t sounds like he’s ready to start winning.
I trust Verbeek but I also question whether he’s too conservative with the prospect pool</div></div>
We probably won't make the playoffs in the next few years. Although Greg Cronin is a nobody rn. After hearing how passionate and how he prioritises development, he will definitely help the new guard blossom. When one of them mentioned their interview went for 4.5 hrs (brain explosion emoji). Greg Cronin will probably be our coach until Matt McIlvane is ready (AHL coach).
