No it is even. Slaf doesn’t have as high of a ceiling that Laf does. You aren’t even comparing the two who are drafted in the same draft. It’s literally best assets and worst asset for 2nd and 3rd asset.

A 2nd/3rd to move Nemeth
A 2nd for Emberson
People are overlooking that Rangers got a legit prospect back here. One with a long history with Miller.
It’s a savvy move
(And that’s coming from a Devils fan)

Fixing this Mess Keeping Eichel MASSIVE CHANGES
I mean Ehlers is a very very good 200 foot player but WIN takes that and runs
LOL SJ doesn't do that add Asplund and a 2021 2nd rounder (at the very least)
Fair value on the JP trade good job
Too much for Lindholm
NJ says thank you and runs away

Kreider to Boston
Boston says No. Too much.
They don't really need to dump Backes. It would help, but not necessary.
assets vs buyout = They should be able to re-sign everyone and not move Backes.
Miller is a good player. Albeit always hurt, but a good player. He could get a 3rd or 4th rd pick from somewhere else.
Krieder for a 1st and a Zboril or Axelsson would be my deal. (any prospect other than Studnicka, Lauzon, Vaak, Beecher, Frederic or Lauko).
He would be a rental on an expiring contract set to hit FA. I have no doubt some team will overpay, but Kreider has never had more goals than 28 goals.
I don't see them moving Urho with Chara being 42 and Krug unsigned. He is the future on LD

Lindholm >>> Skjei
Rakell >> Chytil (right now)
So the question is, is the addition of potential superstar Adam Fox worth the downgrade at two positions?
I'm glad I don't have to make the decision and pull the trigger on that one. Nice challenge, <a href="/users/JokiharjuForNylanderLMAO" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">@JokiharjuForNylanderLMAO</a> !

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>papishark</b></div><div>Labanc for Georg isnt really fair though. The rangers clearly win that deal all day.</div></div>
It's more fair than this current trade though. If you want something closer though, perhaps remove Gambrell and Buchnevich, add a mid round pick from NY

Tampa probably matches, though might laugh all the way to next year's draft. The Eastern Conference isn't getting any easier and these Rangers would not be shoo-ins.
Montreal likely says no to trading Drouin, but if Kovalchuk and Tatar are re-signed, it's not out of the question.

I mean sonny is an nhl player and lias hasn’t proven that. I would rather trade sonny for another struggling nhl player like Jost or someone like that. Even with the picks swapping I don’t see it as an upgrade.

So what happens to Andersson when he gets put in the press box because he won’t play the style Columbus wants to play? Or when he gets sent down because he’s just wasting a roster spot.... sorry but that’s a no from Columbus... I really don’t think anyone is going to trade for Andersson unless it’s a struggling prospect like JP for him.

MAJOR SABRES RANT
I feel the pain and suffering in all of this man. You're not alone. The Pegulas have completely stopped giving a **** about the Sabres once they bought the Bills, because the Bills are their big-ticket money maker, that's the facts.
Remember when Terry was crying at center ice when Gilbert came out right after he'd bought the team? That sure seems like a long time ago.

Honestly points to bad talent evaluation. Either severely undervalued how good ROR is, or drastically overvalued what guys like Berglund and Sobotka could bring to the table.
I also think Targeting Tage Thompson was a mistake. Was never sold on him.

Bruins All in with Kreider
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>bsilk18</b></div><div>Bruins are very good at finding, picking, and developing late round picks.
Yes he was a 7th, but like Sami Niku he is developing really well.
The first roudner is low, but it is a rental. So if he resigns, the 3rd makes it even. and if the bruins win, the 2nd makes it more than fair!</div></div>
As a Bruins fan, Shen does nothing in this deal. He's got 8pts in 30 games this year for Providence. Are you sure you're not thinking of Oskar Steen? He had a solid year in the SHL last year and made the jump to NA. He was a 6th round pick.

Bruins All in with Kreider
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>CD282</b></div><div>I keep seeing this from Rangers fans. What's it based on? Kreider is hardly an elite player to command such a ransom.</div></div>
Kreider is a complete player who consistently averages between 40 and 50 points a year. He's brutal to play against (ask Carey Price) and has a style that is even better suited for the playoffs than the regular season. If Kevin Hayes, a pending UFA who said he would not negotiate an extension, can net Brendan Lemieux, a first and a fourth, Kreider would fetch something similar -- especially if he is agreeing to an extension.
An even better comparison might be the Dzingel deal between Ottawa and Columbus last year. Dzingel and a 7th for Anthony Duclair and two 2nd-round picks. Again, for a rental UFA.

The Moore trade is probably to anyone for anything they can get back, but Columbus isn’t taking that trade. We have plenty of LHD who can play on the bottom pair and we need that cap room next year. So unless Boston is willing to pay us to make him go away, we aren’t interested.
