And these two were traded by the same man to same situations

Fair deal, Suomela was a decent prospect for the Cuda, but I was expecting Barabanov to get moved to us for some reason. I like it because Sharks get a good prospect, and the Leafs get an NHL caliber player.

(CGY/FLA) - Bennett + 2022 6th round pick for Heineman + 2022 2nd round pick
Florida loads up while CGY gets a prospect and a pick. Florida wins this if they win the cup, but they win this now because of the Pick and Bennett. They overpaid a bit though, but if they win the cup it will all change.

There is absolutely no way any of these deals go through. ESPECIALLY THE OILERS CANES AND WILD trades. Is this a fire sale with no return?

Why would Vegas trade Fleury when he's a Vezina favorite?
I could see it happening later on next year, but not right now. Also not that much value and VGK doesn't need Neal back.

Which Team is in More Hell?
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>mondo</b></div><div>Buffalo.
San Jose needs to rebuild and will find a way out from under their heavy contracts. Anaheim is currently stocking up on great future players and have an elite goaltender to get them back into contention soon. Vancouver might be run by a giant doofus but they've got a great core of young players and their bad contracts are slowly leaving. Arizona will shape out to be a decent team. Ottawa and Detroit are on a good track for a rebuild.
But the Sabres? The Pegulas have essentially crushed that team's spirit. This April will be the 10 year anniversary of their last playoff game, and they look no closer to actually being a competitive team today than they did on draft day in 2015. People are pegging their best player since Hasek for a lowball trade. Their front office is stocked with yes man more loyal to the owners than putting a competent product on the ice. They struggle to draft and develop players. They look hopeless.</div></div>
The Sabres are like the Oilers of the 2000s. A blip of success(1999) sandwiched with failure and eternal pain. The Pegulas are more focused on the Bills than the Sabres. They are ruining Jack Eichel. They are ruining Rasmus Dahlin. They are the Cleveland Browns. They have a long t-shirt list of coaches, captains, failed prospects, star players giving them a '**** you' and leaving for contenders.
Ottawa(**** Melnyk and Dorion) are a team, and they look great with Sharks legends in Tierney, Norris, and Stutzle. The Red Wings have Stevie and got out of cap hell. Arizona is dysfunctional but they have a decent team. Jim Benning and Travis Green are sort of ruining the Canucks, but I digress. The Sharks are in hell due to DW going all in all the time. Jones, Vlasic, and EK65 have bad contracts. If we didn't get the three? We could've had Donskoi, Pavelski, (perhaps) an elite goaltender, and other depth pieces. Sharks have good youth though.
Amazing post from you man!

Fair deal. However Tony DeAngelo did revolve into a cancer this year so maybe a win for AZ? Nah.

Karlsson trade
Why would we give up EK65 One year into his horrid contract?
Most likely prospects and a 2nd for him, but I feel like the bigger issue lies in Vlasic, and in Jones. Vlasic is being paid like an elite defenseman, yet he is so trash, that he gets scratched now. Jones is abysmal, and I think either one should go before Karlsson.

how many wins will we get
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>villenash</b></div><div>Honestly, they'd be lucky to win 15. Just look at DET last season -- they only got 17 wins in 71 games, and this team is a lot worse that that in my eyes.</div></div>
If they have good coaching and maybe make a killing off of speed, they can win 30 games maybe? That's quite a stretch in 30. Defense and Goaltending is horrible however, and will probably kill this team

I did a random cap hit, because this was just a meme post and I was asking to see the roster in general. I did a simulation of this in nhl 21 and we got 33 wins for some reason
