Absolutely, but Sillinger needs to improve and take over the 2C spot so Jenner can move to a bottom 6 winger role. Voronkov then takes the 3C. At least that’s the ideal situation in my opinion.

Not that I’ve heard. Hopefully not long since he seems to bring that edge this team is missing without him.

Only bright spots were Cole and Tarasov and maybe Danforth. Jack looks to be regressing to how he played last season minus the last two months which isn't great. He's such a streaky player</div></div>
I definitely think Cole takes the 2C spot from Jack in the near future. It just seems like the past couple years the team can never get the puck over the pads with those in the crease rebound shots.

Way too early to say it’s tank time, it’s been 1 game. I do agree trading Bjorkstrand was the wrong move, but at the same time I gotta assume Jarmo didn’t have much of a choice. If he did have other options then he absolutely blew it.

I'm not that impressed with him and I'd rather not trade to add to the logjam of prospects that block our own from getting ice time. <div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Bdawwwgy1</b></div><div>I see what you're saying with your first point....but this is 1 ACGM. One person trading tex doesn't represent the majority of cbj opinions</div></div>
Moving Tex would be nothing but a cap space move in order to re-sign Gavrikov. Tex is a good player, but Gavvy is a more valuable asset to bring back, especially with a lot of young forwards pushing for a roster spot.

Tampa is in cap hell, that’s why they should consider trading him. Moving up quite a few spots in the first round and gaining a 2nd rd pick which they don’t even have ain’t a bad way to go about it.

Winning the lottery
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Bluejackets2000</b></div><div>I would.
Especially if we got Shane Wright.
That pushes the whole depth chart down, but instead of Jenner 4C, I would put Roslovic at 4C, Johnson at 3C and Jenner 2 LW.
Now even without Shane Wright scenario above, I still probably would make the Marner deal.
I don’t think Foudy really will amount to much.
I like the way Texier plays, but he is inconsistent and probably is close to peaking here in Columbus.
Getting a talent like Marner by trade and not having to give up Marchenko, Johnson, Sillinger or other top prospects or a 1st would be a good value trade for CBJ IMO.</div></div>
I like the idea of Johnson at 3C but I got a hunch he may be more suited as a wing, but either way.

Philly off loads $7 mil in cap space and receives an elite RD, along with the 8th year option for leverage to resign him.

If Beniers is still there then absolutely. Kent Johnson would also be a solid pick. I went with Clarke due to adding Schenn and Dellandrea.

I would hope we’d get a better return for Jones, but it hurts that he is on the last year on his deal and he’ll probably sign in Dallas anyway. Dallas does a trade to get leverage so they can offer the 8th year.

Yeah, I meant to have the TOR 1st rd pick included and realized I had forgotten it. I fixed it. I think Jarmo would be willing to give up the ‘22 2nd or a 3rd as well, if absolutely needed.
